Transcription of her speech that I just completed: "Thank you, and I'm honoured to be given my award by Jody Gerson, the chairman of Universal Publishing. Wow. I brought this up because I wanted to show you, I don't know if you can see. It says this was a 500-quid ad from my managers. I'm so proud of you and grateful for our 15-year friendship and journey together. That's 15 years of friendship from the same two managers. Ben Mawson, right there, and Ed Millett, will you stand up please? Music is hard but my managers have made it very easy. I love them. I love Jody. I have never had one glitch in my career in terms of my friendship. I've been with Polydor for 12 years and Interscope for just as long. Ben Mortimer and Steven Hallowes, thank you for being just like Ben and Ed, my dearest friends. It's amazing. I have so many things to say. Let's see. I mean, I was here 12 years ago. That's amazing. 12 years, still kicking. Not everybody is born with a passion. Not everyone is 3 years old and says, 'I want to be on Broadway!' Passion is fleeting. I don't always wake up and think 'it's so amazing that I'm still in music.' The muse is very fleeting and when those years happen it can be years. I just think to myself when I don't feel passion, what I'm going to focus on is doing a job well done and if that's not enough I do other jobs and then I come back to music and I just think that's really important because not every day is the same and one of the mottos that I go by is 'I can start my day over any time I want.' If I'm having a bad day, I start it over at 11:55pm. If it didn't go well then, I'd gotten an article written that I don't like, I think I can take a walk in the park and remember that I can start my day over at any time I want. Also, is Paloma Faith still in the room? I think I might have seen her leave, but I just wanted to say Paloma, sweetheart, that was such a good speech. I'm so happy you're here. When I had my first video out, you already had videos out, and I think it's so cool that she took a moment to say that and also, okay, a couple of things. So, when I came, when I started, I think a lot of things were written about how the songs were sort of navel-gazing and just about me and my experience with challenging relationships and now I think what we've seen is that those songs were not written about a small microcosm of people and women. We're seeing a huge amount of things written about difficult relationships and even when COVID began, the second epidemic in the United States was interpersonal relationship violence. It increased by 300%, so I just think it's amazing that female singer-songwriters have the freedom to write about absolutely whatever they want. It was always a little nerve-racking to think that writing about the relationships or maybe something that could be seen as self-gratuitous or feigning vulnerability. I heard that a lot. I mean, it is a very vulnerable thing not just for women but for men. I've learned so much in the past few years from my peers about having a challenging time in music, and like someone said my friends are doctors too, so it's not just limited to music. Okay. Yeah. There's one really important thing. So, 15 years ago when I met Ben and Ed I had already been singing in the United States for 8 years. They let me come live with them. I was up and down Kingsland Road for two years here. I didn't know anybody and I don't drink so I had absolutely no friends. It was really, really, really hard except for knowing them. I literally just flew from headlining a show in Alabama where my sister's children are from and to Louisiana where my brother lives with his wife. So, because of a lot of people in this room you gave me a career here which also allowed me to go back home where I had been trying to sing for at least 8 years. So, thank you for letting me be able to sing at the Opera House in Paris and also to go back to Alabama. It's amazing I get to go wherever I want whenever I want. I decided not to do a stadium tour this year because I want to go McCreary Country in Kentucky. I want to go meet the people. I want to say hi and have breakfast with them. It's not always about just going north and going to every island straightforward and picking up money at the stadiums. It's like I said to Ben, you know, after Coachella everyone kind of treated me like a brand new artist, you know? Like, 'oh, she's back!' I said it's like being in a new ship, but I don't just want to go forward and do a stadium tour. I want to figure out how to turn into like a glass ship that can fly, and I don't even know what that means yet, but I'm going to find out, and sometimes that means just stopping and listening to my heart and it's not always about music. It's about thinking about whether what I'm saying is actually matching up with what I'm doing. I could say I want to go on a long stadium tour, but in my heart what I really want to do is be with my family in Alabama and be with my managers in London and the people that I've worked with have given me the freedom every single year with every record. No deadlines, no pressure, so I that I have enough time to listen to my heart and be available to the people around me so I get to make music, and I know it's long winded, but anyways, thank you! Thank you so much!"

Zach Sang just said he was trying to get her for an interview backstage but it sounded like it’s not happening, but will try to get her as a guest on the Zach Sang Show which is his YouTube channel where he interviews musicians x

There’s a behind the scenes stream on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel. The actual ceremony isn’t being broadcasted. The backstage hosts were talking about how Lana was about to go onstage to accept a special international award and the intro to Video Games played, but then it cut away to an interview with KT Tunstall x

It’s where the awards are being hosted! I wouldn’t share it if it was private information of course such as the hotel she was staying at, but the awards show she’s likely attending based on her hairstylist’s posts was publicly announced as being hosted there as it is annually, similar to how the Grammy awards are typically annually hosted at the Crypto.com Arena and is announced in advance as such x

Another thing to suggest she’s there, this photo is from inside the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London where the awards are being hosted. You can see it’s the same location as the selfie with Ed & Ben -

It seems by this video that Lana will definitely be attending the awards as Anna is seen styling Lana’s hair. You can see the same Chanel necklace and shirt as seen in the photo with her managers -

She quickly stopped by fans at both the beginning and end of her show at Hangout Fest - she didn't appear to take any pictures or sign anything, but had some quick chats, accepted some gifts, & hit a fan's vape lol. She also briefly said goodbye to a few fans after her Coachella performances. She spent less than a minute with fans each time, most likely due to time constraints for the festivals x

When I ran into Lana at the mall in the shoe section last September, she was looking at these boots looool x

This was insaaaane and so much fun!! I’m so happy I had phone service when Lana posted her stories that hinted she may be joining Megan, bc for nearly the entire festival I didn’t have service at all lol the universe was once again on my side for that one. The funny thing is my friend and I had originally planned to see Megan’s set when we were mapping out our plans for which acts to see each day, but then this morning decided we were going to skip it to start waiting in the crowd for Reneé Rapp… thank god we didn’t end up doing that or else I would’ve been soooo upset especially since Megan was in our original plans. The heat was brutal though. The past two days of the festival had been more tolerable as it was mostly cloudy the entire time since it rained overnight both days. The worst bit of the heat today was while waiting for Megan’s set as there was not a cloud in the sky and the sun was beeeaaating down on us. People were fainting before her set began. Thank god I had brought a portable fan and had filled up my water bottle right before we got to her stage! My friend and I got to her stage a little over an hour before her set and were about four rows back for the performance. Megan’s set was so much fun - I hadn’t listened to her music before as I’m not a big fan of country, but she was absolutely stunning and I really enjoyed her songs especially lyrically. She’s a great writer! I’d definitely be open to a collab with Lana. Lana hit the stage for the last song which a lot of Megan fans were surprised about (I would say 95% of people in the crowd were there for Megan anyway and had no clue about Lana) and she came out looking like an angel as she always does. It was another cute moment of watching her have fun with her friends on stage. I love how much she’s been enjoying herself lately with all these fun adventures! Can’t wait to see what’s next x

Just popping in before I go to sleep for the night to say the show was incredible from an attendee perspective. This was my 19th show of hers, so I really enjoyed all of the surprise guest performances as a nice switch up. You could tell how much fun Lana was having with everyone and was really enjoying herself on stage! Her vocals were absolutely incredible, perhaps some of the best I’ve seen in person from her shows I’ve attended. Looked beautiful. Talked to the crowd more than normal which was so cute. She was so happy to be back in Alabama and it showed. Also, this performance appealed to the non-stans in the crowd as well. I didn’t try for barricade (I knew I wouldn’t survive it in this Alabama heat & humidity) and got to Lana’s set about 3 hours before she got onstage, so I was quite a few rows back but still had a pretty decent view since I was right by the middle barricade. I was surrounded by some people who weren’t super stans and they really enjoyed the set. I also brought my friend to the show who is just a casual listener (she really only listens to Born to Die & NFR occasionally, mostly bc of my influence lol) and she loved it. It was her first Lana show and right after it ended she said “I didn’t really understand the obsession with Lana until now. Something about seeing her live really makes her music hit different. Watching her was mesmerising. I see it now - Lana is America’s princess.” As soon as we got back to the hotel, she immediately ordered a LDR flag from Amazon and started reading up on her Wikipedia lol. So, it was a great set especially for a festival crowd even if a few songs had to be cut. However, this has made me realise I am getting way too old for festivals loool it seemed like my friend and I were among the oldest there (apparently this is a festival popular among college kids which we are not) and whew my old knees are not what they used to be looool. Currently feeling so much ache from the knees down and my head is throbbing lmaooo but I’m excited for Chappell Roan tomorrow & Reneé Rapp on Sunday!! Goodnight LanaBoards xx

It’s officially been a week since this magical moment. It still feels like a dream. Here’s a lil vid of right when Lana came out to join us during Off to the Races! At the end of the video, you can literally see me falling down during the lyric where she says “I am falling down” loool I tripped over a velvet rope stand behind me
