On Lana’s recent Instagram story, she’s seen discussing the setlist with her tour team, so I thought I’d share an idea of a setlist that she should do. Her average solo show setlists are about 18 songs and her festivals are about 13. Though I tried to remain realistic, this solo setlist contains 22 tracks and the festival version 16 so it’s a little ambitious, but with shortened versions & medleys I’ve included, I think it’d be doable for her. I’ve marked songs that would be omitted from a festival list with an asterisk * Within this setlist, I tried to include songs she’s known to like to sing, songs she’s mentioned wanting to sing, her hits/singles, and fan favourites. She mentioned wanting to do some medleys, so I’ve added some that I think would be interesting. I also used these medleys to provide mood transitions during the setlist. The setlist opens with more upbeat songs, then the first BTD medley transitions us to a lower-tempo part of the setlist. Then the second candle medley picks us back up to an uptempo sound until the third fan faves medley brings us to a midtempo mix for the last part of the set. Additionally, I tried to keep a good mix of songs from all of the records with a focus on the recent 4. This was quite a challenge considering she has 9 projects to fit into only 1-1.5 hours! x 1. I merged a certain new thread into this one. Having a whole thread dedicated to some sort of “exposé” of other member/person doesn’t sit well with me and just seems like a brewing place for drama. Though, it seems like most thoughts from that can be discussed here x

I’ve officially gotten my VIP ticket for Sunday! After much manifesting & stroke of miracle, we broke for camera turn-around on set 15 minutes after tickets went live, so I sprinted out the door to grab my phone so I could snag a ticket. (I’m not sure if 1-day VIPs tend to sell out quickly, but I wasn’t sure so wanted to be safe!) I’m soooo excited! Knowing that I’m 100% seeing Lana this year now makes my heart so happy x

“Making a few for you”

Hi everyone, just wanted to pop in regarding this. So unfortunately, it seems that sometime last year Tumblr disabled the use of Javascript unless by request. This sorter was created using Javascript, so I am currently unable to update it. You now have to contact Tumblr and request the use of Javascript on your blog. It seems this was done to prevent spam? I'm not sure. Either way, I reached out to them asking them to enable Javascript usage on my page so I can update this for you all! It says it may take a couple of days for them to respond, but I'll keep you all updated x

Finished my second listen of the album.. and the sleep deprivation is now hitting me. I wish I could stay up all night listening to this record over and over, but a 42hr streak is about as much as my body can handle LOL. Again as I said earlier, I’m already ready to declare this her best record. It’s a masterpiece. So much substance, so much to unpack.. so I’ll be back later today to share more thoughts! I can’t wait to read all of yours’ too. & of course the new site visuals will also be arriving later today as well! I noticed & commented on this too! For me, it’s sort of a full-circle moment as Regina was one of my favourite artists at the time I discovered Lana back in 2012. The run of Fingertips, Paris Texas, and Grandfather all have that Regina-esque quality that makes me feel so nostalgic x

Just leaving this here so it can live on in history. I’ll forever be in shambles that Lana teased this lyric to me over a YEAR ago. I didn’t quite understand what she meant by it at the time, but now… I get it… x

Wow. I can't believe I just finished my first personal listen of the record. I know it's so soon, but I'm already ready to declare this as her best album. Though Ultraviolence will always be my personal favourite mostly because I have so many memories with it and meaning built into the songs over the past 9 years, it's undeniable that this record is an absolute masterpiece. So much was said. So much was done! There was a great variety - it was raw, personal, unexpected, even shocking at times! A jaw-dropper in multiple ways. Again, I've been awake for over 40 hours now so I apologise if this post and my live-listen reactions sounded kind of jumbled and worded poorly, but I think even if I had been well-rested it still wouldn't have improved my ability much to find what to say. I have so many thoughts that I can't yet articulate. This record is a lot to take in, in a very good way. Right now, really all I can say is wow. Wow wow wow. Miss Del Rey has done it again, always outdoing herself. I'll have to come back here later today to write my full thoughts and of course give my ranking after a couple more listens, actually probably in a week for that since already I have no idea how I'm even going to begin ranking these songs. Seriously, at the listening party I kept going "oh, this is my new favourite" and I felt the same way after this personal listen. Love her. Love the record. Love you guys. I can't believe we're finally here. It's a beautiful day to be a Lana fan, as is almost every day x

What an incredible way to end a record. You know, pretty early on in the pre-release I predicted that the closing track would be one of the wordier ones, taking the final minutes to get out all that she wanted to say before it came to a close. Though I was somewhat wrong, I'd also like to think that I was somewhat right. Sometimes there really isn't more to be said, except for what already has been said. I think motioning that sentiment by repeating the care-free, fun-loving lines of Venice Bitch that we already know and love with some new ad-libs is brilliant. She said so much on this record - she got raw, she got personal - more than ever before, in my opinion. So, why not close the whole thing by shaking the heaviness off and transitioning into a remix of one of her most iconic songs? I think by not saying anything more at all and rather choosing to reminisce on a lighter note, she silently reiterated some of the most important lyric lessons that she wanted to stress from the record - "I'm meaning to say, that there's nothing to do except know that this is how the light gets in" "I give myself two seconds to breathe and go back to being a serene queen. I just needed two seconds to be me." "When you’re home, you’re home (Venice, California)" "It's not about having someone to love me anymore, this is the experience of being an American Whore" "When you leave all you take is your memories, and I’m gonna take mine of you with me" So by saying nothing new at all, she really said so much. Again, this whole record contained so much personal storytelling, and I just think this is the perfect sendoff. Sort of a, here was my story, now it's over, let's have fun. I also love the Taco Truck section of the song and while I do wish it was its own song, I think it transitions so well into Venice Bitch. I think I may even prefer this rendition to the original. Also, I'm still dying at the fact she teased a lyric from this song to me over a year ago. No, I'm never going to shut up about it x
