Honestly, I was really hoping it would be a pic we haven't seen before. Something to make it even more exciting. There are way too many variants with the same cover imo and the Spotify pic disc is even more unique because of the pic used. Sadly, the leaked photo (assuming it wasn't photo shoped) was of the Neil cover, so chances are that's what it's going to be. I actually like the other pics Neil took of Lana in the Yosemite shirt. I really, really, really wish we would have gotten a vinyl variation with one of those pics as the cover ? I feel this is the case too. I'm really hoping it's today tbh. I need to get all of my funds situated for next week's release. I have over $600 tied up in preorders ?‍♂️ God, that sounds crazy to actually type out... I've never spent so much on a single album release.

The leaked agenda for the release of COCC and because someone posted a pic online of a pic disc that hasn't been officially announced yet. We weren't sure what the 3rd pic disc was going to be, but the leaked picture showed the Neil alternative vinyl cover as the last pic disc. We're just waiting for the preorder to go live

I'm def not selling my numbered vinyl. Just glad I was able to get one before they sold out. I regret never buying the heart shaped LFL single from UO when it was available, because now it's redic priced. The 3rd picture disc had better drop today. I mean, we're a week out from the release as of today. I'm wondering if it will be very limited in quantity ?

That makes two of us. That material was definitely a decision, not necessarily a good decision.

I ordered the same bundle from her French site before they sold out. I keep this thread up and running all day until the last picture disc pre-orders go live. These last couple of pre-orders have sold out fast. I don't want to miss the final vinyl variation.

I've literally done the same. Trying to keep track of all the different variations and how much money I have tied up in pre-orders has been a challenge

The description is 12" x 12" which is about the size of a record sleeve I'm really hoping this is the case ??????

Did I miss something during the LFL era???? I got the signed vinyl, but I don't remember a lithograph ?

When I received the LFL it was an actual vinyl sleeve without a record in it, but it came with a sealed record too. Not sure if this will be the same format since it's a lithograph and not a signed vinyl (which is how the LFL was sold as)

I'm hoping her US store comes thru and I can cancel the French store order and save on shipping at least. They went really quick mate. Within 10 or 15 mins they were gone. Apparently, some peeps have either been canceling their orders or have ordered more than the limit of 1 because every so often 1 will pop back into stock. What I'm actually not understanding as of yet, is why the Japanese LP being sold in the UK and not Japan ?‍♂️

I agree with both of you. This new variation should have been a different vinyl color or different cover, with a limited quantity of 500. Just adding a number of 1 to 500 is just arbitrary inflation. It would have made this an extreme collector's edition. I'm still hoping the final picture disc will be unique and not a reused pic from the back of the standard vinyl or something.

Given that WD is (maybe) dropping this Friday, that would mean the last disc is only a week out from the actual release of COCC. I'm trying to get my budget in order for this album release because there are so many f'ing variations I need to have the funds available for when it drops. I was hoping to have an idea by now on what this COCC is gonna cost me in the end ?‍♂️ I wonder if the last pd will be very limited in quantity with only a week available for its pre-order? ? I'm guessing the way Beth Gibbons sings is what she's referring to, because musically Portishead are one of the Godfathers of the Trip-Hop movement. I don't really imagine Lana going trip-hop especially given how she's described COCC thus far. Also, is she referring to Dummy, Portishead (self-titled 2nd album) or Third because all 3 albums are all different sonically ?‍♂️ The heavy, deep bass of Dummy still gets me all tingling inside when I play that album at ridiculously loud volume ?Nonetheless, name dropping Portishead makes me really excited !! ?
