I get on this forum and skip to the last page mostly because its usually a mess. But I'm glad to see we're evening out lol. 18 tracks sounds great. That's enough to satisfy me for a while. I'm happy for Lana and that she's singing about stuff she thinks matters..... but my fav is still the girl singing about her men who are bad news for her but she loves them anyway. If I wanted socio-political I'd go listen to K. Dot or Foster the People or something. (I do love them but I know that's what to expect from them) Just feeling really underwhelmed right now.

I might like this more than Snoreymoon but its going to be fighting for that spot of last on my list in rankings of Lana's albums.

It's pretty slow to be honest. It's mellow at best. She has way too many upbeat songs to call that upbeat. If you compare to OTTR and even Butterflies is faster than this. This is not upbeat for Lana. The whole BTD album was faster than this song.

Lana could do better than G-Eazy.... Yuck. But anyway, she needs to get the pre-order up and going.

Simon Says reminds me of something Melanie Martinez would write lmao and I love it. Old Habit Die Hard good song. I like it Paper Love I dont like the beat drop into the chorus. Otherwise the song would be cute.

I hope the Lord strikes that down. Honeymoon was a snooze but even it had sounds. A pure acoustic track with that kind of singing? It'll be my new lullaby. But on a side note if it's gonna be an acoustic song. ON OUR WAY is the way to go. Just saying. But anyway, after Lust For Life... I'm not really excited for anymore singles. I just want the album as a whole. Give us a date dammit.

I dont dislike LFL because it's happy. I LOVE Lana's happy songs. I just didn't enjoy this one. Her songs with collabs are always Hit or Miss for me. I didnt like that Cherry Wine song. I didn't like Prisoner. Things are up for grabs. Anyway, I'm still super excited for this album and I have great hopes in what it could be, because I do LOVE the production this time around.

It's happy. But not upbeat. Your definition is obviously a different standard of upbeat. She's done plenty of upbeat unreleased songs. This song is mellow.
