Dan is an okay producer, but I personally like Emile more. I like anything Lana pretty much puts out, (the producer barely even matters) but I liked the hip-hop-ish feel it had during the BTD era. It had more beat, more bounce. This album will be more sway; spiritual feeling.(slowish.) Personally I'm saying that BTD beats were better. But I'm not here for that, I'm here for Lana's singing!

Also, what's with everyone being so critical. We all have different tastes, not everyone is going to like the same song. Some songs will be a hit, some will be a miss. I'm just ready for the melody(of her singing) and the lyrics.

If we're going to complain about that, then we may as well complain about 70% of what she does since it's all borrowed from a time before her. So much of what she does is nostalgia, her whole look has been lifted from Prscilla Presley/Nancy Sinatra ect. her singing style also, i mean...........if at this point using an old skool song title as a lyric is so awful then how has anyone been on board with her for the last 3 years?

She's right though; feminists are so annoying .
I sincerely can't @ people giving her shit for that. I don't care about feminism or gay rights, so what? You don't have to force that shit down people's throats like so many people do.

The interview had song lyrics in it. Money Power Glory "My life it comprises of losses and wins and fails and falls
I can do it if you really, really like that"
And an extra line of Brooklyn Baby "Yeah my boyfriend's really cool, but he's not as cool as me."

Honestly this just tells the kind of person she is. If she doesnt care for feminism, she just doesnt. It's not cringy or eww or whatever. It's just how she feels. Give her a break.

This interview was really good. Really personal. It seems like she said a lot that was on her mind. If you don't like it... that's a shame. Cuz this seems like the most personal and honest interview we've ever gotten.

Lana fans are literally the most over-thinking bunch of people. lol I personally love the sound of Brooklyn Baby, the lyrics are fine. I wasnt expecting every song to be written at the highest level, but I dont think these lyrics are too bad. Maybe this song wasnt meant to be a lyrical song, but more of a just listen to the sound and feel it, type of song. Idk.

Singer-songwriters write in character form. Nobody writes an autobiography. Don't trust Lana when she says that her songs are autobiographical. That word is quite a stretch.
There is a little bit of her in it, but ppl need to let go of the idea that Lana is presenting us her diary.

I hear "Crying tears of gold like Adam and Eve." Not Marilyn. And I dont hear "Mis suenos." I hear " Yo soy la princesa, comprende these late nights."
