  1. I thought we left trap beats in 2018. Superstar is not bad, but the beat is tired. And to think that Lana will also serve trap beats on NFR ugh I can't.
  2. I've been wanting to get into Zelda for a long time but I never thought I was "ready" for it (idk why) but today I decided to finally start Ocarina of Time (3DS version). I've read that each game tells a different story and features a different incarnation of Link so there's no problem skipping the previous games right?
  3. You guys seem to be only looking for reasons to fight around here lately, like chill for god's sake
  4. Okay this poem is fucking good. After Happy I wasn't expecting much from her poetry but I really enjoy this, maybe because it gives me some LFL vibes?
  5. Banned for being a Britney stan
  6. EXACTLY. Most of the lyrics are cringe worthy for me and I really don't like the production so there's nothing I really like about this song.
  7. If there's one thing I know about Lana is that her closers are always fucking good. Lucky Ones, Flipside, Swan Song (sorry DLMBM) and Get Free are career highlights and I have faith in her to serve a closer just as good for NFR. (I'm 100% sure none of the songs we've already heard are closers)
  8. Also I'd like to apologize for talking so much shit about Hope I bet it's kinda annoying to be so negative about a song and I know there are a lot of people here who like it, but I just despise that song and I think it's the laziest, most boring, most uninspired and messiest piece of work Lana has ever put out, ever.
  9. Liability and Happy Birthday Johnny are also boring as hell and amongst the worst ones (if not the worst) from Melodrama and Masseduction, but at least Lorde's and St. Vincent's vocals are somewhat interesting and they carry the song well, unlike Hope (and I'm not that fond of Hope's lyrics too, but that's a personal complain). New Years Day can't relate because the lyrics are sublime and the stripped down production actually makes sense in the context of the album: she sings about discovering this new love and going through things throught the whole thing and, in the end, when she's settled with a guy she actually loves and appreciates her for who she really is, she sings about the part of love no one sings about, the part where the both of them do mundane things like cleaning bottles together after a party and realizing how in love they are. It's a brilliant closer imo.
  10. lemme edit my posts talking shit about hope is a ugly song real quick
  11. who cares about lana we'll get a marina single this friday and taylor's new single next friday i'm honestly thriving and if lana doesn't want to release a single she can keep it i'm being well fed by other ladies
  12. oh sorry sis i must have confused you with someone else then i've always knew you had good taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. It's so endearing to see europeans complaining about 17ºc being too hot when I'm literally going through a 46ºc summer lmao
  14. Thats what you get for talking shit about Change. There's something in the wind and you'll feel it when winter turns into summer bitch.
  15. this made my day daddy nowels will serve another masterpiece for us wow wig dont get me wrong i like jack (and i was one of the people who really defended him pre-MAC) but i think rick has a little more edge, especially when it comes to piano ballads... hope is so uninspired and the same thing goes to happy birthday johnny and liability, they're all bland and boring. i think writer in the dark is the only piano ballad he made i actually enjoy, but most of that is because of the emotions lorde evokes in that song.
  16. wait... what now? which interview? don't get my hopes up pls...
  17. But Lana did almost the exact same thing with MAC and VB, the difference is that Marina has an actual plan and will release her album in two months while Lana has been cockcaging us for six whole months now.
