I feel like Superstar could’ve been 100x better if the production was a bit more explosive with more interesting sound effects. I don’t mind the general vibe of the production (I love the futuristic/“spacey” ambiance) but it definitely veers towards generic EDM.
The bridge is stunning with that dreamy synth in the background, reminds me of a cool Sci-Fi movie. Something like Lana/The Weeknd’s Stargirl in terms of sound would’ve been perfect.

Well the song is... interesting to say at least. Not quite sure if I like it.
The trap beat was a bit too much, glued with these odd lyrics....Sounds like they're trying to chase a hit after all. Maybe the song is awkward but it's mean to be "THE SINGLE" this era. If this is "all", it's fine, but if the whole album was tailored to be "radio-friendly" like Superstar... uhh girl.

demo is by captain cuts (brilliant producers their new single with carly is great too) and the final credits have this sam guy on it so i'm assuming he's partly responsible for this mess

demo bpm is 93 while the final version is somewhere up to 98-100
lovely andrew @@wraith slowed down the final version to the correct bpm which sounds much smoother and is actually in sync with her vocals
