If I’m being honest I liked some of the XCX World stuff quite a bit, but a lot of it really suffered from “demoitis” IMO... I think this album will surpass it. If Gone is a good indicator for the quality, we’re in for a really nice era!
 
I mean, there’s not too much of a reason to doubt her with the consistency of her work, and mixtapes especially. BIOYL was a song we’ve all been aware of for forever now, it’s only natural that it didn’t bring a ton of new hype and excitement. In more ways than one really. It was new, but it wasn’t... and there’s still a lot of unheard stuff coming.

track 10 > delicious > i got it > lucky > femmebot > unlock it > out of my head > porsche > tears > backseat periodt

all these comments bashing the greatest song on pop 2 aka delicious, the bold combination of weird yet majestic sounds, the boom clap insert, tommy's adlibs.......
 

r u being sarcastic. i just dont wanna go off with a whole explanation cuz i feel like no one does that or cares abt it on here. n1a is more accessible the songs r catchy and like someone else said i mean they good for a lot of scenarios it makes sense a lot of ppl prefer it but ultimately its safe average electropop like anyone couldve easily wrote at least half the songs on the album pop 2 is way more innovative better production more personality just way more unique its just way more relevant and i consider that better
 
also charlis bangs r good at least for the photoshoots around that era...

it makes sense that ppl prefer n1a but pop 2 is clearly better...n1a is cute and catchy but nowhere near as important n1a definitely more cohesive tho but i kinda love how messy pop 2 is.

i dont get whats so bad abt collabs i think theyre cool and r basically a part of her music now and rly always has been like u guys signed up for this...and one troye feature is rly not gonna be that bad. we barely know anything about the album and ur all panicking...

I wouldn't say we necessarily signed up for it. Putting collabs on something labelled as a mixtape and an album are completely different things. Imo an album is meant to represent only YOU (and its about the time the GP had time to see JUST her since her only charting songs are features...) and I just feel like her album will look somewhat lazy if there are too many features (which lets not lie aren't exactly with the most interesting, Charli-like artists e.g. Lizzo/Troye) and plus, I stan Charli... not charli and her friends. It would make total sense to do like a half solo half collab, that would be really cool too separate it. But I can already see the tracklist now and it's such an eyesore.
