  1. lol at people thinking lana neede to promote to earn money. shes made millions over the last few years
  2. rly after all this time its just now getting on radio????
  3. really? guess its different where you are. when i saw her live it was a vastly mixed crowd, gays, girls, hetero couples, rock-a-billy types, old people ect.
  4. i think its more that hetero guys arent really into singer forums tbh. i know a lot of guys who love certain things, straight guys i mean, and none of them frequent forums or anything. other than buying her album, seeing her live or wanting to have sex with lana, i doubt most hetero guys care beyond that.
  5. i know other straight guys that like her music. she isnt exactly a "gay" artist like say, britney or something.
  6. i don think lanas albums are concepts in regards to their lyrical content having a flow from song to song, but the production and general tone of an album like born to die certainly has a running theme through it, just in regards to atmosphere and music that it does feel like a concept album in its delivery. there's definitly a flow............."sonically" same goes for ultraviolence. it feels like a complete package because all of the songs hold a similar vibe. id say paradise doesnt feel conceptual, more of a collection of random songs, but theyre situated on the tracklisting in a way that compliments the flow of the album. paradise for me always felt like 3 distinct parts that evoke 3 different types of moods [1/ ride, american/cola....2/body electric/blue velvet/gods and monsters.......3/bel air/yayo...............burning desire would have fit well after gods and monsters imo]. whereas btd and ultraviolence felt very complete from start to finish production wise. i generally prefer concept albums because i like albums that feel like a story, whether its lyrically or just musically. madonnas ray of light is a good exmaple of that.or bjorks vespertine. but im happy with non-conceptual too.
  7. theres only so many song titles you can think of that are unique. shes written 600000 songs.
  8. album turned out better than expected. im really liking it.
  9. her album is beautiful. my friend bought it blindly on itunes because she liked the cover and when she played it for me i diiiiied.betrayed is my fav, so gorgeous. her album is beautiful. my friend bought it blindly on itunes because she liked the cover and when she played it for me i diiiiied. betrayed is my fav, so gorgeous.
  10. imagine if we do get a target bonus track and its NOT life is beautiful. that would be so like her tbh
  11. thanks. thought i read people in the U.S got it with terrence. guess not.
  12. is the song honeymoon available for everyone via itunes? In australia its not....
  13. yea shes not gonna use any of the song titles in the lyrics. srsly all you guys do is complain about everything
  14. Yes, the production is actually sublime. the small moments of sound that pop up every so often are great. lana has always had sond modern sounding songs that are an ode to older music, but terrence actually feels old, like it was made 50 years ago.
