I prefer the second version of Driving In Cars, where she sings the chorus in the low voice. Pretty much NO ONE likes that version, but i like it more, mostly because it's easier for me to sing since i don't have a high pitched womans voice :haha: plus the high pitched one does kinda give me a headache sometimes if i'm not in the mood for it.

I'm not much of a collector tbh, so all i have is BTD deluxe and the Blue Jeans vinyl because i LOVED the images on it and got it cheap.

As a whole, alternative pop. Someone like Ellie Goulding fits into this genre as well. People think "pop' is a dirty word, like it discredits someones music, but she is essentially commercial enough to be pop, yet still non-mainstream enough to be an alternative type of artist too. Other names like baroque pop and hollywood sadcore are cute, but also hugely pretentious and not needed. There IS a genre for her, we don't need to create ones. The only "folk" album she has is Sirens, but that only sounds folky because it's unfinished and raw with guitar only.

Agree about Nirvana being overrated. As for her not knowing that much about them, i dunno, bit a silly criticism, i know a few bands who i really like and i've never bothered to learn their history or every fact about them outside of loving a few of their albums.
