OMFG I have been waiting for this short film for 2 years now, and Lana made a song for it. I am seriously crying. This is insane!! I love Daniel Johnston too! These two legendary artists involved is making my heart break with joy. I remember that Lana contributed to the film, but that's amazing she recorded a song for it. I am so happy

Tell you the truth, I believe Lana lost some of her edge on HM, which might be why I'm not too into it. The controversy and campy topics surrounding her songs kind of fuels my fire for her. HM is toned down in all aspects compared to her previous works in my opinion. It's not a horrible album, it's just not as edgy as I'd like it to be. I guess you could say Lana is at her best when she gets a lot of criticism Anyways, I think Ultraviolence is her best album. I have never listened to an album as much as UV, and that may or may not change. But I am very certain that I would not have the same response to HM if it was released instead of UV. People on here are very receptive to Lana's music. We want to love HM as much as UV, but it just doesn't do it for a lot of us.

So according to the Billboard interview, Lana had a love affair before Francesco. Does that mean Lana cheated on Barrie, or is this mystery guy cheater....or both? Is UV about this love affair?? "Being a mistress on the side..." Am I totally missing this??? EDIT I read it again, I guess she is referring to Barrie, but the "love affair" part of the question threw me off.

Does interscope really want her to fade away? I see people on here always saying that interscope doesn't like the music Lana is making or something along those lines, but where are people getting this info from? Is it true?
