I think they are only featuring Lana's song because she makes an appearance in the documentary, probably riding in Elvis's car as seen in the synopsis. So my theory is that Lana will be in a scene talking about her relationship to Elvis and the American Dream, and she'll mention her song that she wrote called "Elvis," which will start playing over the audio. Therefore, the old laptop song will probably be used as reference. Again, this is my theory, so I might be totally wrong. I'd prefer a studio version so we can get something new

Anyway, I think Lana should make an album with Alex Turner. It's more likely she works with him than Auerbach again, plus we would probably get another UV-like album (maybe even better). I've been thinking about this while playing Belladonna of Sadness by Alexandra Savior all week. Turner produced that album, and Lana and him know each other well (I think they worked on something together). Y'all should listen to this if you haven't already.

I think gets creative with elements in her life. We having a documented example with Cola where she name drops Harvey Weinstein, but it was more for fantasy/imaginary purposes even though she worked with him. I think this is what makes Lana fascinating and mysterious; we're not sure how much to believe and I'm ok with that.

This Elvis documentary is so exciting to me!!! I love Lana's song, and if we get a studio version then even better. She's finally getting recognition and respect for her amazing writing.
