One would think to contact whoever is managing their UK tour and figure out what’s happening instead of replying confusing, vague replies to their fans… but that is Sky’s forte

She was born outside this cosmological system there's not one astrological sign, Myers-Briggs type or pathological classification that explains the way she is. She's not one of us

  2. In defence of the quietness of Ocean Blvd I think it's part of the intended listening experience. When you're in a quiet room listening to it through speakers the dynamics really make the album shine. It wouldn't be as emotionally affecting if The Grants for example didn't start quiet so it could crescendo into its incredible climax. Grandfather in particular needed that room to expand. The intensity of the peaks would be less intense and goosebumpy without the quiet. It's an album that was really mixed for vinyl so it's no wonder that the context you would normally play a vinyl in gives the best experience

I was thinking this earlier. There are some really well-considered, insightful posts on here. Those who take the time to post quality contributions deserve recognition :agree:

And also just some truly shocking displays of mental illness that need to be given a spotlight

Like In The City by Sam Smith? I’m so done with officially released music. Gaga and Charli take the sell out route. Their unreleased is all we have to look forward to now that Sophie is dead

    No because yes

This exact same thing happened to me. I keep coming back to this album. You wouldn't think that, considering the album is long, dense and complex. But the replay value as a listening experience is insane to me.

I think it’s because of how long and dense it is - it’s so stimulating and I just want to feel it deeply over and over again
