i don't really have an opinion on the skechers cover, but no way is it worse than the LFL cover...surpassing that would be quite the feat

if you're gonna harass the label (which i am all for), what about doing it under the assumption that they've shelved NFR (regardless of the truth)? it's easy to ignore open-ended questions, but if you put the blame directly on them and the onus on them to prove otherwise, i feel like there's a better chance of getting an answer. and if it's really all lana being lazy, i'm sure they'd want to clear their name...just a thought. i hate this poetry book more and more with each passing day

this is actually a FANTASTIC example, because what happened with fiona's record turned out to be that it was never actually shelved, but that she didn't like the terms her label gave her for working on it, and quit rather than comply with them (i'll put a better explanation in a spoiler in case anyone cares, but that's the gist of it). so basically production and promotion on the record just stopped entirely, and fans assumed it had been shelved, so they set up the free fiona protests. after that kind of display of support, fiona ended up getting the funding and the go-ahead to finish and release her album how she wanted. so i feel like this is actually a really good parallel to the lana situation, since we don't know what exactly is going on; putting pressure on the label would be a great way to get some information at the very least!
