  1. If the whole thing leaks w/o tags I'll listen in full once and then wait for the release date. It's the only way I can compromise w/ myself for having zero self control when it comes to Lana.
  2. leakers fucking suck but Lana's team needs to step up and do better this is so ridiculous and i have no self control
  3. It feels like a huge disservice to Lana to listen to the album out of order, so I'm not listening again until the full album's out. And I don't want it to be leaked. But yeah. You can tell just by listening to the leaks that .
  4. Yeah, honestly, @Rosemead if you're leaking this, then fuck you. If you're not, then sorry.
  5. I listened to the leaked tracks once and not again. I refuse to listen to this album out of order.
  6. Beautiful is definitely the most mid song she's made since 2019, though. Def not my favorite Lana track.
  7. Right?? This album already feels like Lana at her freest and most unrestrained. The fact that she dares to be less polished and uncompromising as she grows in her career is something to celebrate. She has such a unique, volatile, complex mind - us getting a raw glimpse of it like this is such a gift. Anyone reducing it to "uneven" or whatever is completely missing the point (although I know they're just trolling, lol).
  8. So many people talking about ~world building~ like each Lana album doesn't have its own vibe and atmosphere. Ocean Blvd will follow suit. I'm beyonddd excited for Ocean Blvd. It's giving sprawling, unhinged, stream-of-consciousness energy. It's 80 minutes long, a variety of flavors, Lana giving negative two fucks... what's not to love?
  9. yeah, I'm not worried about any rankings bc they all have A&W as #1 or close to it and I don't think it'll be in my Top 3 even tho I love it (no shade A&W!!!).
  10. If anyone needs the standard vinyl, it's on sale for preorder at Amazon, $31.97: https://www.amazon.com/know-theres-tunnel-under-Ocean/dp/B0BP3W1JPB/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?crid=16C22EQ8HLES6&keywords=lana+del+rey+ocean+blvd+vinyl&qid=1677652935&sprefix=lana+del+rey+ocean+blvd+viny%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-1-fkmr0
  11. Same… Already 6 variants deep, give us the titty vinyl box set!
  12. Oh wow. This confirms “raped” and “got a [cop] who turned on the backbeat”
  13. Totally re: worlds The only album that felt like it had less of a vision or “world” than the others to me is Blue Banisters. That felt like more of a scrapbook, intentionally messy, old songs meet new songs, loosely retracing “karmic lineage”, etc. It’s interesting that she thinks NFR! and Chemtrails don’t have their own world. They seem very rich with vision to me. Even if she utilized a couple old songs to build it, it all fits and works under a very specific atmosphere. Ocean Blvd already feels like it’s own world, though. A darker, deeper dive into Lana’s mind (and probably still picking up the pieces after Sean based on the context around the first two singles). I genuinely believe her when she says it’s her most personal album yet.
  14. Not to be “that person”, but I’m really happy Jack came in and helped polish the album. It was sort of obvious she was working with guys who weren’t super trained or experienced with what they were doing on Blue Banisters. I still love that album for what it is and it’s character, but it’s definitely her worst sounding album, audio-quality wise. Every other album sounds so amazing to my ears, so I’m happy there’s more of a focus on that this time.
