  1. OK so yes, I actually agree with this. I liked the deep dive discussion that was had about this a few days ago - I missed it, but I read it and was nodding the entire time. I like him generally, but what excited me about Jack being on board for the new album is he makes everything *sound* good. Say what you want about Jack's production style - NFR and Chemtrails both *sound* excellent. BB was all over the place for me. Fortunately, that doesn't ruin the quality of the songs, but like... Some songs sounded muddy, some sounded too loud, some sounded just ... off? Idk what the deal was, and I need to study the credits, but I'm glad Ocean Blvd (song) sounds so much smoother and lush than anything on BB. I'm not shitting on BB, I love every Lana album, but the inconsistencies/slight roughness to some of the *sound quality* was not completely it for me.
  2. One of my life rules is "Never trust a Darryl". But for Lana I will trust this one. A&W 2/14!!!
  3. I took the day off from work tomorrow because I'm sick (but mostly because i just want to do nothing and sleep the day away to get to Tuesday so we have A&W~)
  4. i agree, give us one last taste of the album w/ A&W and then starve us HARD until the 24th.
  5. Normally I would never choose Standard, but it's my favorite cover and feels so classic. I've ordered them all, though, bc obvi...
  6. I think it's fair to feel it's a little dry right now. Two months between first and second single is pretty long for eras nowadays (even though we had it worse for Chemtrails, and I guess NFR). Just happy the drought will be over soon.
  7. I genuinely love her, though. At first I was like "wtf", but VB sounds like a hazy California heat wave. So it makes sense... She did that.
  8. I just hope A&W is as chaotic as we've been told it is. I want something that will make me gasp.
  9. Mother needs to feed us... I rarely complain but I'm fucking bored. Last.fm says I've listened to the title track 300x already within 2 months. Where's the next track??!?!?!?!?!?!?! Tease us, edge us, give us somethingggggg
  10. I’m so happy we don’t have any leftovers on this album. I definitely stand by and think she needed to release Blue Banisters for herself, but yeah. It’s infinitely more exciting to have a clearer picture of what’s on her mind *now*. Happy to have all new music this time.
  11. Lowkey, maybe Sweet? Her more simple, understated songs can sometimes take a second to hit for me. But then again, she’s never made a bad track 3, so idk why anyone is expecting this song to be mid. I’m genuinely looking forward to every song, even if I find a title like Let the Light In a bit boring.
  12. We always get the most news on the days I go have a real life All this tea has me so excited. I think the most interesting part for me is how the instrumentals for Paris, Texas, Grandfather, and Fishtails were re-done by Jack, with a little more bells and whistles added. They’re going to be beautiful.
  13. AKA - Banana Born to Die - Blueberry Paradise - Pineapple Ultraviolence - Pomegranate Honeymoon - Raspberry LFL - Cherry NFR - Orange (+ Lime/Lemon/Citrus) COCC - Strawberry BB - Peach ...OB - Blackberry
  14. I used to buy them all on CD, then I started buying them on vinyl. My collection is honestly kind of a mess. CDs: - Born to Die (Deluxe) - Ultraviolence (Target CD w/ Flipside ofc) - Honeymoon - Lust For Life - Chemtrails (w/ signed art card) Vinyl: - Born to Die (Target Red) - Ultraviolence (UO + UK Deluxe) - NFR! (Lime + Translucent Blue) - Violet (Cream + Blue) - Chemtrails (All variants except Blue - yuck) - Blue Banisters (Translucent White, Target Red, + Translucent Yellow) Tapes: Chemtrails (random beach cover lol) And all variants of Ocean Blvd on pre-order. I still need Paradise, Honeymoon, and LFL on vinyl, but I haven’t heard good things about their quality and I want them in color, so I haven’t bought them yet (refuse to pay those resale prices). I also stream on Spotify - Lana’s my #1 on Last.fm BY FAR.
  15. Wasn't Kitsungi sort of described as a "lullaby", too? Regardless, I think Kitsungi is going to be one for the ~real ones~. It's gotta be special if she's tossing a 6 minute track into the absolute center of the album. And re: LMLYLAW - I think it would have received much more love if it weren't released as the first single. But I still love it. Such a peaceful, romantic song.
  16. (I'm not sure the Judah interlude will be helping with this. ) Seriously, though, big love to all of you for documenting all of this and notifying the necessary people. We all know she has many stalkers, and their behavior's been getting scary over the past couple of years. I get very scared of the worst case scenario, the Lennon, Bjork, Christina Grimmie stuff... I just hope Lana is prioritizing her safety. I can't even imagine having to deal with people like this on a regular basis. Didn't Taylor say something about traveling with gunshot gauze and blood clotting materials? Good God... I'd be a recluse.
  17. Sweet is already so underrated, I can’t help but laugh at her treatment. Since when is a Lana Track 3 ever not good?
  18. Still waiting for my gurlie Contemplating at Costco the Santa Clarita Fires to earn her spot somewhere on a tracklist, though maybe she’ll be a title track a few albums down in, like, 3 years…
