  1. Agreed that she's saying "raped" now, but I think it's going to fly under the radar because of how she delivers it.
  2. This is the type of song that needs time to settle and fully sink in - there's just so much going on in it, and it's all over the place, but even on first listen I was like "This is obviously quite fantastic"...
  3. I've listened to this song 50 times already today () and I'm still hearing new hidden sounds in it. What a layered ass track.
  4. I think I just want the lighter, tbh, and I don't even smoke. Any sort of vinyl box set, though, and she can have all my money.
  5. Her team could have bought candy necklaces in bulk and sold them on her webstore for like a 1000% upcharge. Missed opportunity.
  6. Track 4 1. A&W 2. Fuck It I Love You 3. Brooklyn Baby 4. Video Games 5. Let Me Love You Like A Woman 6. Cherry 7. God Knows I Tried 8. Body Electric 9. Interlude - The Trio Track 2 1. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 2. Ocean Blvd 3. Mariners Apartment Complex 4. Blue Banisters 5. Music to Watch Boys to 6. Ultraviolence 7. Lust For Life 8. Off to the Races 9. American
  7. This song is a 10/10 for me but I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think my favorite song is still in the tracklist somewhere...
  8. Totally. I think the Lorde comparisons are super lazy and probably have more to due with listeners' age or something. A more obvious modern comparison would be Billie Eilish, IMO, but even then, I'm still leaning toward Masseduction + NIN.
  9. I genuinely think the run from Kintsugi -> Grandfather is going to murder me. Lizzy Grant is going to end my life.
  10. Boob vinyl doesn't exist yet, unfortunately. I hope it does.
  11. the first half honestly makes me crave another dark classic rock-influenced album from her, i won't lie...
  12. the whole song is a serve, but who else prefers the first half? seeing people online be like "i start the song at the trap part" and i'm like
  13. of course she kind of hinted at it for me when she said her feelings on the new album change by the day but right now she's feeling good about it it usually implies some sort of unrest or she feels like she wasn't/isn't done again plus those IG stories of her already being back in the studio!
  14. I love this because a) it's unhinged, b) she's having fun, c) it gives both sides of her fans what they want -- the first half is this moody, '90s grunge, classic rock vibe, and then the second is Lana back to flowing over hip-hop beats like she did earlier on in her career. I think it's funny when people say she's being too safe and then she releases something batshit like this and then people aren't into it. She's just doing what she wants. It isn't that deep.
  15. I loveeeeee all the background vocals on this song. Her laughing, vaping, screaming, sighing... sounding full of sass. You can tell she had a blast on this one. I mean, look at me: Look at the length of my hair My face, the shape of my body— Do you really think I give a damn what I do After years of just hearing them talking? Body shamers given the FINGER.
  16. OK but the user who said this gives slight Courtney Love/Hole grunge vibes on the first half... yes!
  17. Not me wishing she actually went for it and called the album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me on Ring a Bell Psycho Lifeguard.
  18. I prefer the first half but I know everyone was sort of wanting something like the second half from her and it's super UNHINGED as a whole so ofc I love it
  19. it's the way i'm just praying to have the song in a matter of hours that's it anything else would be extra extra sugary sweet
