    in their defense, every record store i had called this month had today listed as the release date, so actually many chains & independent record stores were specifically given today as the release date, why wouldn't they believe it? just last week i actually told the guy who owns the record shop in my town the correct date and he didn't believe me :um:

    lana isn't even back to instagram for her own good. it's satan tempting her with it and he's messing with us too. don't let it work. people gloating over having access have already lost the battle. everything to do with the honeymoon account has become tainted and evil. and i truly mean this in the most unironic way, idc if i sound crazy. :peace2:

    and this would've honestly been the ideal option for all of us and her. idc if i get dragged, social media is toxic af. this theead is proof of that. lana leaving social media was the best thing she ever did (for herself and for us) and coming back has just created unnecessary division amongst fans.

    honestly i get why she'd want a private little instagram with only a small amount of fans but it's inevitable lots of big fans still won't have access while some people have multiple accounts with access and some non-fans have access and it sucks. life isn't fair and i get that and yes i'm making it very clear i'm jealous, i'm not pretending it's bigger than that. it just especially hurts for those who constantly get excluded and ostracized in life, which lana herself has clearly felt too, and has made a point of recently, so it's like an extra smack in the face. again, i know it's not personal and it's not the end of the world and i don't hold it against lana, but it sucks. and yes, even if i had access to the honeymoon account, i'd still empathize with fans who don't and think it sucks for them. it would honestly be better for everyone (including herself) if she just deleted the honeymoon account too. if you don't think there's still toxic and hateful people following the honeymoon account, you must be new to the internet.

    first the honeymoon account, now this video.... might as well just delete social  media at this point to avoid always being in the out group. :suicide: lanaboards is even a lot more depressing when everything she posts is exclusive to only a few *special* people. i'd rather not even know tbh. :runs:

    it's stupid that requests don't automatically accept when you go public like on twitter. of course i'd be sleeping and now i miss out as usual just because i don't make stalking lana online my entire existence. it's beyond annoying that this happens all the time. i hope instagram goes down again and never comes back because this shit didn't matter before social media. these days we're either all connected or alienated from each other and there's no in between. and this situation is just amplifying the already harmful "us vs them" online dynamic that no one can escape.
