  1. I feel like sharing some actual unpopular opinions and use this channel for its true purpose. Here I go: my favourite part in Heroin is when it ends.
  2. I don't hate that album--it's definitely there; it has good moments and all, but to act as if it's better than its technically officially released counterparts is baffling.
  3. Sad Girl is one of her most underrated songs! The instrumentals are so damn sexy and the bridge is EVERYTHING; I think it rivals Pretty When You Cry as the climax of the album.
  4. The way this record was released on Friday 13th 2014. Oh Lana.
  5. Her best album. That's it. Brilliant, monumental, phenomenal, groundbreaking, unexpected & thrilling album. Happy birthday to this timeless masterpiece! 🎉
  6. Just manifesting the album to be released soon for the sake of it.
  7. Well, I'm here for Rob's debut, but as for Lana the concept is tired.
  8. Another potential piano driven album, most likely produced/co-produced by Jack Antonoff on the horizons...
  9. Well to each their own, I find Text Book to be the best produced tracks in the bunch.
  10. I personally don't mind the stream of consciousness/conversational music if it's in the vein of Text Book or Blue Banisters, but less so if it's like hiadtfawlmth-bihi or Love song.
  11. I wouldn't mind hearing RBFY, but I really want a brand new album.
  12. If insiders had tea on this era you best believe they would either be dropping breadcrumbs or letting it be known that they have tea and not spill.
  13. To each their own, Rick's so called "plasticky" production is more pleasing to the ears than Jack's hermetic/understated sound. But you do you Jack Jared.
  14. It's funny that you say that when it's legit become a thing/meme online where people beg their favourite artists to stop collaborating with him because he "ruins" their music/albums. I like that this album seems to be a bit of a melting pot of producers, because that actually brings balance and nuance. It could potentially be a bit chaotic, or lack cohesion. But to me that's better than another album where Jack is fully in charge, we've heard enough of the "Jack + Lana" sound. Rick is a fan favourite, Jack is not.
  15. I'm fully convinced that there are people who became Lana stans overnight with NFR, who disregard everything she's done prior and will do after. An interesting POV to say the least.
  16. Love that for me. Thank you for not forcing your questionable music taste on me, Jack.
  17. If by nuance you mean making her sing in that half-hassed/half-spoken tone and making all the instruments sound inaudible and/or tinny; giving her music that incredibly dreary and understated atmosphere, then you're 100% correct. Jack added a lot of nuance to Lana's sound.
  18. Her best lyricist/collaborator coming to save the day.
  19. Hopefully Rick was brought along to make the instruments well balanced & audible this time around
