do we think brat might be 'continuous' like a dj mix? I don't mind if it is but I just hope all the songs stop/start in a natural place, as it's annoying if you wanna listen to one song and the outro ends with like one beat of the next song. also if you don't like one of the songs that sucks too...

really curious about the rollout for this album, in both the L+F and ADIAML era she said she wanted to just ‘drop singles whenever’ so now she’s essentially free to work to her own schedule I wonder what we’ll get. (an album or a series of unrelated songs)

I love the last half of the remix but in the first part the verse lyrics don’t really flow as well as I was expecting? it sort of sounds like a demo in which they just sung some random lines to change later (sorry)

she didn’t admit to having it on 360 brat Q&A, only Botox and some other injection (not filler) so I’m hoping it’s just face tape and makeup which she was doing in the crash era, but didn’t look this extreme (feeling the need to get Botox at 31 is also sad too though! not to be annoyingly pedantic (on a LanaBoards server? say it isn’t so) but on the wiki it says she said she wanted that many in April 2015, by May that dropped to 4-5, and in June it was just one more song, so I’m not sure how many she actually got around to writing let alone recording but yes I agree I hope we hear more than one song we’ve never heard of!! one new song for each froot would be the goal

I’m not hungry anymore about to be scrapped from froot, froot repackage, 2019 standalone release and froot 10 year anniversary joking aside I hope it’s good!! (EH felt a little low effort considering all the material she had for it but she was still under Atlantic at the time iirc?) feels a bit mean to say ‘wait until next year’ considering her track record with repackages but I hope we get when you take away control. i'm surprised they haven't cracked down on artists releasing slightly different versions of the same album to increase chart sales, they cracked down on people (k-pop stans) buying the same single on different accounts by decreasing the weight physical sales have. I suppose it would be quite difficult to enforce, like would they make it so only the standard album version counted towards album sales? (genuinely curious, not looking to start another fight about album versions lol)

basically all what Coloringbooks said but to answer the last question if the song is an mp3 then unfortunately encoding data is the best way to figure out a timeframe for a song, m4a and wav (others too) keep their export date but rarely mp3s once they’ve been sent from place to place. and then, if we’re being pedantic, export date still isn’t 100%. songs can be created but not actually exported until a later date if Charli reconsiders the song. all we can ever really have is a rough estimate. metadata2go is a really good site if you want to try running some mp3s through, but try and find the original files and not ones you’ve edited.

has anyone put charli's vocals from bullets onto the final by thy slaughter? I gave in the city another listen and it now being sandwiched between speed drive and von dutch it feels like an even weirder choice to release. addison rae should have been in the speed drive video instead, and i think she should have given in the city as a pitch song to someone else. which knowing Charli’s luck would have meant the song blowing up

this is just my theory, but as she doesn’t have rights to the masters of her first 2 albums, and has even said people can pirate geidi primes and halfaxa instead of giving that label money (she’s not making anything off the vinyls they’re currently selling), I’m wondering if this is a really quick way to have a version of the album in her name? nazgul records is her company so we’ll see if she does halfaxa too i guess. also unfortunately i feel like david (studio version) has either been deleted accidentally or on purpose. it’s about a friend who committed suicide in 2008 so I’m not sure she would release or remake it as much as I’d love it.
