Update I have only listened to this album since Friday and it’s currently number 1 fav album of all time I’m so serious I love the way this song ends the whole album has really ominous instrumentals through out it and it really lends itself to the concept and vibe they were going for. I love the reoccurring arpeggios in songs like fear, sex and that’s my floor.

This is easily AOTY. I didn’t think anyone was gonna top Brat. Never listened before yesterday and Imaginal Disk is a pop masterpiece!

I think the difference between her and lizzy/lana is that Lana lived these songs she sings about. Lana sang and ingrained these trailer park miss America images so hard into her music for years and you could almost paint the lore in your head. Remy feels a little too derived, like these songs aren’t non fiction. Which is fine, and I do enjoy San Francisco and Summer Song. But it’s like the music version of uncanny valley.
