Does Lana have a new album coming out? This is most definitely new information and I’m most definitely not just trying to forget the past 7-8 months and pretend that this is the first I’ve heard of this so this album rollout (lack thereof) doesn’t seem so excruciating and poorly planned. I heard she has a few fresh new tracks as well with surf rock vibezzzz. Can’t wait to check ‘em out for what will absolutely be the first time I’ve heard them!! Hopefully she teases some snippets of new material as well! I wonder what it will all sound like??

I love her but never got into the bride (her most Lana album lol) but the new song gives me hype. Gives me The Haunted Man vibezzz and that’s second favorite of hers (after Fur and Gold obvs)

I was really stoned the other day and I had the entirety of In Your Car play in my head and it had an amazing chill beat and beautiful high warbly synths and if we never hear the full song I’m going to do my damnedest to make what was in my head a reality. I expect it to be just a piano ballad on the record, but we will see.

Pop2 was what made me realize she was a pop force to be reckoned with so I have to give that one the edge.

Someone on reddit tossed out the idea that maybe the album will be released in tandem with the new Apple Music rollout considering she sang at Apple events and “rubbed shoulders with Tim Cook”. It’s a reach but this era is already absurd so it’s worth mentioning here I guess?

This is the last time I try to follow an album release so closely. This ain’t fun. I’ll say it again and again: give me Norman Fucking Rockwell. Give me cinnamon, hiab, in your car, htd. I don’t want something else. I want the introspective sad girl shit I was told was coming so many months ago. I need it. I crave it. I’m goin’ through some shit and it would undoubtedly help me through MY introspective sad girl moment. All y’all putting the notion that NFR might not come or might be reworked making me need to smudge some sage and get rid of this negative juju.

Party up the street is taking me places I love it. It’s soooooo dreamy and hazy it’s giving me cool summer evening in the city vibezzz. This really is a great collection of tracks.

It’s absurd and I love it.
