I’ve been waiting for Norman Fucking Rockwell now for ages (I realize it hasn't even been a year, but let me feel my feelings) so when it comes I want NORMAN FUCKING ROCKWELL.

Yeah I’m inclined to think that’s bullshit. It could easily be censored for situations where the word fucking might be seen as “inappropriate”.

I really do wonder what’s going on with her poetry book. She hasn’t posted about it in what feels like forever. NFR 2.0 truly. We love our queen of getting overly excited about her work then growing tired of it and letting it sit on the floor under the coffee table in her sitting room never to be released.

Knew she’d come through. Again, she looks radiant.

NGL im surprised we didn't get a Memorial Day update from lil miss baddie. I don't look at stories all the time and I don't follow her friends tho so maybe I missed something.

hello I recently and unexpectedly watched every season so far of horror story except for murder house and apocalypse and here is my official ranking of what I've seen: 1. Asylum (seems like a given at this point) 2. Coven (again, duh) 3. Roanoke (it's pure, unadulterated, dumb fun) 4. Hotel (started great, ended dumb) 5. Cult (didn't loathe it but all of the characters were grating) 6. FreakShow (again, all the characters were grating and something about the setting was just really unexciting to me. The musical numbers are all lol too. I will say Ms. Lang singing "OH YAH GIV IT 2 ME THIS IS HEAVEN ETC..." gives me life)

I hope Jack’s post is even mildly significant. I feel good about him posting a pic of her. It’s a small reminder they once worked together. Lol

I’m not certain I’ve ever noticed. Lol. I’ll have to look. More random Joni feelings as this is the first I’ve ever posted in this thread: peoples parties into the same situation is fucking perfect. Down to You is in my top 10 songs ever. Have we all seen the recent Joni Birthday concert? Rufus singing blue is amazing. Brandi singing Down to You is great. Diana Kralls Amelia is quirky and beautiful. Anyways, I love Joni and finding Joni/Lana fans is amazing.

Omg the taste of all of you. Joni Mitchell is tucking amazing. Blue through Hejira is just all perfection 100%. Hejira might be my favorite. Amelia is devastating. Dive right into the hissing of summer lawns.

Damn she is looking so fresh. Honestly I’d be down for this stripped down look to be what she’s going for with the visuals for NFR.

Though I’d hardly call it rushing considering the album has been done and sitting there for months lol. More like we are trying to get her to move at any pace at all.

We keep going in circles about this whole album. One minute it’s the label’s fault for messing with the album, the next minute it’s Lana just being lazy, and now we’ve arrived back at the theory about the label. WHERES THE TRUTH? It’s like a carousel. I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride. I really do hope she’s ok and we are just reading far too deep into everything.

Fair, but if she even just addressed the fans and mentioned that “things are taking a bit longer than expected” (no need for ANYTHING specific at all) it would at least stop us from having a heart attack anytime she breathes, overanalyzing it as a sign the albums being either surprised dropped or cancelled.

And also what’s fucking stopping her from being decent and just addressing this mess? If the album is being messed with we will understand and all our frustrations will change direction from her towards whoever is messing with NFR.

She’s being the most vague with everything and it’s obviously intentional at this point. Lol

That Barnes and Noble probably just has a fan working there that typed up that sign hoping the same god damn thing we are all hoping; that we can somehow will this record into being. :*(

Yes and the snippets sound AMAZING. Lana can go right back to her over produced born to die era shit (which I would gobble up) AFTER she releases her introspective sad girl piano album because I NEED IT FOR MY SANITY. I kind of agree that maybe the snippets don’t sound all to summery EXCEPT In Your Car which is begging to be the soundtrack of my summer infidelities. (Just kidding... )

But actually. I’m hearing Cinnamon and In Your Car with or without Lana’s consent.

That “can’t wait to share more with u” stings at this point for sure. This is exactly why we are upset. It seemed so imminent a few months ago.

I hate the Lizzo verse but otherwise like the new version of the song.

I get the sense she can play really basic shit on piano and guitar. Like the baseline skill level. Chords and easy finger picked stuff. Maybe she was just plunking really simple piano chords and singing and he just liked the song. Maybe he only said he liked it because he thought she was cute and wanted to get it on. In any case maybe if we comment something about her dates with Moby on insta we can get her to talk about NFR. (Just kidding that’d be rude and fruitless) DEAD

Not gonna lie, the Moby story gives me more life than Doin’ Time. That might be enough to tide me over until the album tbh.

Im here for this. As long as the music good so am I.
