I keep watching the video and it’s so satisfying every time she says “I hope u like my new album it comes out in 2 months :3” FINALLY. lies and mistrust and blah blah blah, I guess anything could happen but I don’t see why she would say that if she didn’t mean it. I bet preorder at the beginning of July happens. BLESS.

Vamanos Lana! Times a tickin! The optimist in me is dead, but realistically we have to be getting something soon. It’s mid year. Her friend (the dancer) probably knows a little bit about the grand plan and if she’s talking about Lana “conquering the year” I assume part of that includes releasing the album. If she’s gonna conquer 2019 she gonna have to start real soon because we are speeding through it it seems.

Anyways, stream Bird Songs of a Killjoy by Bedouine. One of the most exquisite song cycles I’ve heard put to record this year.

Well, for what feels like the billionth time, it’s over. Unless someone asks about the album. And she actually says something. But she won’t. I hope early July pre-order is right but honestly it’s so fucking dumb at this point I can hardly care.

I just mean she’s been consistent with her insta recently. She had a row of birthday shit, she had a row of vogue covers, and now by only posting 2 things last weekend she has left her insta unbalanced as far as the visual of it is concerned. The vogues aren’t in line, the birthday posts aren’t in line.

This is valid but I think the circumstances are entirely different. It’s HER birthday, it’s mid-year, which is when the press release said the album was coming, she teased the title track, she still has a missing insta post (I still believe she will finish the row this weekend with SOMETHING, whether that be something dumb like a tour poster or something amazing like an album cover). I know we are grasping at straws here but straws are all we got to hold on to. It we let go we fall into the dark.

Ok sure, but make sure we make NFR the priority.

The worst reason

Obviously what I want the most is the whole damn album at this point, but if she is to do something more realistic, I would prefer a date and the cover over a song. I don’t need to hear more of it before it’s out. I’m a full album listener but I’m also weak and can’t avoid songs and snippets. If she does drop a song, I hope she also included the release date or something. I just don’t want another song and then silence.

Surprise releases have a GLOBAL release date silly. Not to prolong anyone’s inevitable disappointment when Lana does absolutely nothing tomorrow, but the crazy conspiracy theorist in me thinks it’s even possible she might drop something mid day tomorrow. She did specifically mention her birth time so maybe around then

I think that’s just the low quality of the snippet itself and not necessarily the song, that’s what you’re talking about. It your talking about her delivery I couldn’t disagree more. This is by far the most nuance her vocals have had imo.

Omg I stan the track if it’s for Charlie’s angels and tbh that makes the “differentness” of the styles make more sense. Each angel is unique and gifted with her own set of skills. Ari is kind of the Cameron Diaz. Miley is wild Drew Barrymore-esque one. Lana is the sultry yet smart one, the Lucy Liu if you will.

The rapidity with which I lose and gain hope has jumped. I’m runnin’ outta clown make-up, I gotta stock up...

I still think it’d be a CRYING SHAME if she didn’t release or tease or announce something on her birthday//first day of summer//festival kick off weekend. It’d be so stupid not to.

I’m not even that juiced for this but I think all the talk that this might *~disrupt her artistic integrity~* is grating.

Maybe her third insta post is going to be about the collab? I just can’t believe she letting her insta sit there like that. I just don’t see harm in her collabing with these 2. It could be fun. It feels clear to me that she’s doing all these poppier things outside of her own albums so they don’t have to have these super poppy moments on them. Interscope knows she has some pop appeal and maybe it really is her compromise for not having to have this kind of stuff on her album.

Miley and Ari and two of the biggest names in pop culture right now I hardly think it’s a disaster if Lana collabs with them. It’d be a huge boost to her viability these days and we know she loves Ari. Miley is wild but she really does have a lovely voice. I’d be hesitant af if this was supposed to somehow belong on NFR but it seems pretty clear it’s for something else.
