I feel we say the same thing with every album release since NFR! ? This one does feel different because of the unreleased music and the old time collaborators, and just in time for her 10th anniversary debut it feels like a full circle moment for her.

I think you’re reading too much into it. If she decided to deactivate all of her socials all of the sudden, it would cause chaos in the fan base as to why she’s suddenly absent. She was nice enough to let us know that she is happy and working hard on the music and basically to not worry about why she’s gone. Good for her — sometimes I toy with the idea of deleting my socials too, so I can only imagine how it can be for a public figure. I’m sad we won’t be hearing from her, but I think this is probably really good for her, so I 100% support her on that. I did not see sadness in her, to me she seemed very calm and serene (queen.mp3). She also seems like she is at a point in her career where she feels liberated and accomplished enough to not care about the attention. Honestly, I see this as a natural progression as she has been less and less active on social media in the last years. Every time she posts about her own music releases it almost feels like she’s contractually forced to .

Does anyone else think the song Chemtrails is a top 5 in her discography? It’s so stunning. Like even just the first 3 seconds of the song set such a warm and nostalgic tone. The song is a hug, a warm blanket.
