This all came about because someone said Abu Dhabi is in shambles, which isn't true. The UAE is as wealthy af. As a wealthy artist who has been invited there to perform, Lana has absolutely nothing to worry about so long as she obeys the laws. It's pretty simple, and that pretty much applies to any country you go to.

Yeah I haven't been to Abu Dhabi but I've been to Dubai twice by myself and I never once felt unsafe. From what I know, all of the Gulf countries are generally very safe so long as you obey the laws. That's not to say that I agree with all of their laws, especially pertaining to LGBTQI+ people, and I am not gay so I don't know how I'd feel about going there if I was.

This is not a complaint but more of an observation: she seemed less .... smiley or something? Almost like she was pissed about something? Maybe it's just the vibe I got from the clips.

The dancers aren't going anywhere, for better or worse. I do wish there'd be some attempt to coordinate their outfits with Lana's, though. I don't necessarily mean that they should wear long floral dresses if sis wears one, but there should be some sort of uniformity. The fact that their outfits are so different just makes them seem more out of place, imo.

The whole "they don't get it" line of thought is so arrogant. No wonder she's the way that she is; all of these people seem so fucking terrified of her. Yes, according to him it's all about selling out shows, so I guess it really is about the $$$ rather than the art. Unsurprising.

Unfortunately, he's right. If the shows keep selling out, nothing will ever change. As I said, she doesn't care. She collects her $$$ and goes home.

She doesn't care. She flies to and from these gigs on a private jet (which, btw, costs upward of $100k for a return trip), sings NFR, Bartender, and 10 other songs she's had on the set list forever, sits under her peach tree for awhile, takes some selfies with people she's met 55 times before whilst Venice Bitch plays in the background, goes home, gets her $$$, and gives no fucks. ETA: Her being late to almost every show this year so far really pisses me off. As I said earlier, I understand that sometimes stuff happens, and I don't think anyone minds her being slightly late some of the time, but 20 or more minutes late almost every single show? IMO it comes off as diva-ish and it isn't a good look, especially when she cuts her set short because of it.
