Honestly though, the dress is the least of my issues. She can wear whatever she likes, throw as many peaches as she likes, and hang from a trapeze for the duration of the show if she wishes, as long as she actually SINGS her songs. She's always saying that it's all about the music, so make it about the music, Lanz. Do better.

Not mad, just disappointed. For example, I feel that there is really no excuse for not singing Bartender in its entirety. I could understand if the song had really high notes or something, but it doesn't. I could understand if she was dancing, but she wasn't. It was the second song on the setlist, so fatigue shouldn't be a problem. So ... what is the justification for it? I can sing that song without problems, so I know she can. It's really difficult to find a reason for it other than laziness. She's a singer. She needs to sing. As far as I'm concerned, asking people to pay several hundred dollars to listen to you sing only half the time isn't good enough. Maybe my standards are too high? I don't know.

I wasn't there, and I'm glad that everyone who was seems to have had a good time. However, I feel like she had an opportunity to really OVERHAUL her show, and didn't, so I'm a bit disappointed. Not surprised, just disappointed. There were a few small changes ... like, peach tree was cute ... but overall, everything is basically the same and she just added two NFR songs. Ashley and Alex seem like nice girls and I know they're not going anywhere, but at this point, I really don't think they suit the direction she's going in musically. With the exception of Cherry and Doin' Time, they seem very out of place.

Yes. I just ... I don't know. On one hand, I don't feel that it's fair to judge her for anything she has had done, because it's her prerogative, and because being in the spotlight and having pictures taken from every imaginable angle must be really stressful 'n' shit. I'd seriously have a breakdown. So if it makes her feel more comfortable with herself or whatever, then okay. On the other hand, it really upsets me that she feels she needs it. Women should be allowed to age without having to fill up their faces with toxic shit. But as someone pointed out awhile ago, you can't just stop fillers because the skin stretches when you've had them for awhile, and if you stop, it sags.

I can see where you're getting The Scientist/California comparison from, but not Yellow/MAC. Both of those songs make me wistful, though. They are from a time long ago when Coldplay was actually good and Chris Martin wasn't yet a pretentious dick ...
