A June 21 release for that song makes sense. - her birthday - first day of summer (she cares about shit like that; look at her poetry) - Friday - day before her first festival show It's so much her favourite for so many reasons so I feel like she'd want the day she releases it on to hold some significance. And all of that makes perfect sense and is logical af, which is why she won't do it. ETA: she also posted the snippet for DT roughly a week before its release, and iirc she announced MAC and VB a week before. I don't think she'd "announce" that she's dropping NFR on her birthday, though. She'd just drop it.

I doubt she notices individuals if she does come here ... just skims, probably.

Especially because she was so clear about which song it was instead of being vague af which is more typical for her. "Title track #normanfuckingrockwell" as opposed to "a new song from my album" or quoted lyrics. She sooo reads here ...

K well I'm gonna cling to the 3-post theory and delude myself into believing that she will announce the release date for the song and/or album tomorrow! But this is also me rn because the truth is too painful to contemplate:

She probably has no intention of releasing that song and/or the album any time soon, and just gave us the snippet thinking it'll shut us up for at least the next month whilst she tours ... zzz I like the snippet, but my expectation is that it'll be another 7 months before we get the actual song, so it's difficult to be excited and it's all her fault.

I want her to do an MV for it but I also don't because I feel like her and Chuck will just devise some sort of indoor version of the MAC/VB video ... and probably even use that snippet filter To me, the piano almost has a 1920s quality and tbh I just listened without watching the clip and just imagined "Young and Beautiful"-style visuals ...

I don't know. I like, and always have liked, RHCP but my main complaint with them is that every single song ever references California. It's okay in some songs, but it is so predictable and unnecessary in others. Sis also has frequent California references, so maybe that's what she meant by "RHCP influence"

There was one post ages ago where she appeared to filter out any comments containing "NFR". It happened to myself and others, but other people insisted that it was a glitch, so whatever. Nobody really knows. She definitely tinkers with her settings ... sometimes you can see her activity and then you look again a few minutes later and you cannot. Idk maybe my app is glitchy.

I don't know if I want to believe that the song is about G-Eazy or not. On one hand, I am absolutely sure his poetry would suck because of his music. On the other hand, I definitely feel like Francesco would've fucked better than G-Eazy, he's Italian for starters ... so that line confuses me ... because she fucked him after Francesco. Unless it's about Barrie or someone else entirely. Or maybe Francesco was a dud. No, it's true. I can't be bothered putting on my clown makeup but I am hoping she releases it ... soon. This week, even. I feel like if, after the obvious dissatisfaction from fans, she drops this snippet and then says nothing else/doesn't release it for months ... it'll be really difficult to give a fuck/get excited about anything she announces ever again.
