Everyone's gonna get mad and idgaf. Jack Antonoff is, as usual, trying to do way too much and it just sounds all muffled and substandard. Less is more, and it's a concept he doesn't understand. He might be able to play 112 different instruments but that doesn't mean you try to put 72 of them into one song as some sort of personal challenge. The obligatory random sound is in there, too (a helicopter @ 2:40). His production is almost tiring to listen to because there is just so much going on at once and you cannot clearly identify any one component (except a violin which seems to be his current obsession) He's annoying and BAD and needs to leave Florence, Lana, and other talented women ALOEN.

My friend got the OLED and right away the controller annoyed her because it makes noises. So she wanted a replacement but both the store and Nintendo told her it's just how the controllers are made now. The person at the store said it's because that model is made with cheaper components I have a Switch Lite and it works for me. It just doesn't have the rumble function so if it's agame that relies heavily on that then it might not work idk

I agree and pretty much everything I'm about to add belongs in the unpop thread: She used to marry lyrics with music so well, but Blue Banisters is basically her diary entries with very bland background music. It's as if she got sooo caught up in her identity as a wRiTeR that she forgot that it's actually more about the music if you're presenting that writing in songs. I don't think this album will be anything like NFR - it's gonna be the 3rd installment of the COCC/BB trilogy. There has been basically no gap between the making of these albums and tbh you need one to get something significantly different or "new" from an artist, in most cases. And it doesn't help that the producer she's using tends to reuse the same soundscapes and techniques over and over.
