  1. This is my exact view of it. I think it's lyrically one of her strongest ever, and if it had just been a slightly more simplistic ballad like we hear initially, it would have been stronger. I'm always listening to music in headphones, so listening to those drums is an experience to say the least
  2. Has it been long enough for me to admit that the drums on Wildflower Wildfire actually drive me nuts
  3. If that is the cover, it’s gotta at least be more upscaled because this one is so blurry the text is unreadable, and looks like the ratio of an iPhone screenshot (which is what I’m assuming it is)
  4. I have to speak my truth, this is giving Rock Candy Sweet Here’s hoping I’m wrong! The caption looks like a good sign to me, I’m just a tad jaded when it comes to Lana releases to be honest
  5. Girl I thought somebody died for real

    Your Music

    New funniest thread just dropped
  7. I honestly believe that TikTok changed Lana's career. She's always been popular, she's had several #1 albums, but I think that the way TikTok has pushed her music has made her a staple artist in a sense. I feel like she used to get categorized more with Marina, Lorde, and other female indie artists. Now, I often see her grouped in with Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, all the big pop stars. It's actually kind of fascinating to see how much power sped-up 15 second clips of songs can have
  8. This year is gonna be a stan Twitter bloodbath
  9. Lana's music will always hold an incredible importance to me, but I'm going to be honest, I've been struggling to listen since she married Jeremy. Knowing that he backs pure hatred and evil, and that Lana married him just disappoints me so much
  10. The first thing I heard when I woke up this morning was a bunch of dudes yelling "make america great again!" outside my dorm building This is all just so fucking bleak
  11. There's no point in fantasizing about scenarios where this could have gone well, and there's no point in trying somehow to make any of this make sense because it just doesn't
  12. I wish I could say that I'm surprised. I knew better than to have faith in the people of this country because they have proven time and time again that they do not care about anyone but themselves. I don't know what else to say or what else to do.
  13. I'm just gonna have to go to class tomorrow after this?
  14. Getting in this thread and defending that wretched monstrosity of a human being is just genuinely so ignorant and a waste of everybody's time
  15. Tonight it's me, my pen, and my sour gummy worms against the world I want to be so confident that Trump won't win, but I know that that's not as much of a guarantee as it should be. I feel weird saying any of my thoughts because I'm scared I'll accidentally manifest this going the wrong way
  16. I am so glad I voted last week. Today, no matter what happens, is going to be a fucking mess
  17. This whole situation has been so strange. I had, for some reason, been watching a bunch of One Direction video essays and relistening to their music. I was a huge 1D girl growing up. Over the past couple of months, my opinion had changed drastically, and I can't help but think of the women who have come forward about the abuse he inflicted upon them. It's genuinely just so shocking that all of this happened. It's been a struggle to balance acknowledging how fucked up and inexcusable his behavior was while also remembering the fact that he was a part of something that was so important to me when I was a young child. One Direction was my first fandom, and that experience really shaped me into becoming the person I am now (and how heavily involved I am now). I don't know. Either way, I truly just hope that people leave Liam's son, the other members of the band, his family and partner, and Maya Henry the fuck alone. Nobody asked for a paragraph in the Liam Payne thread but here we are
  18. I'm so fucking excited about this. I really like how Hayden goes about releasing projects, where we get these extra things in between the wait for the albums that are a part of the longer Preacher's Daughter album universe. It's gonna be so nice to hear Punish in HQ, and I can't wait to see what else is on this illusive project
  19. If out of every song in Lana's discography, this one ends up being her first Grammy, I will cry laughing. It's definitely not a bad song, but it being her first Grammy with everything else she's released would be crazy
  20. I think that when mess occurs on Lanaboards, we should only consult the Dark Angel Alligator Council and do nothing else
  21. ....anyways b sides when
