  1. Now why did I think Thunder leaked in 2019 I remember it happening before COVID but I guess not lol
  2. I know that the whole "thunder has piano" thing put quite a few people off, but what really excited me about it was hearing about the build up of it. Hearing all the different instruments that are gonna be used is something I'm looking forward to. I think the newer version is gonna fit BB better than the version we have right now
  3. Lana's got the social media detox glow, the album comes out in 30 days...we're being fed so well
  4. Why are we acting like we know Lana and her life/story on a deeply personal level? I don't think any of us really have a right to say that the demo songs aren't part of that, especially since a lot of them do revolve around similar themes to what she has shared with us over the past year or so. I understand that it's a bit frustrating since it's 4 songs we've already heard + 4 singles, meaning we only have 5 new songs (6 if you include Dealer), but I don't know. For me, I just don't feel like it's right to decide whether or not the decision to put the unreleased songs on the album was a good one or not until I hear the album in full.
  5. We're officially only one month away....it's been a long, hard road, but we're almost there
  6. It actually did for a brief moment when that key west kitten thing got popular over the spring
  7. I fully agree with Damn You. I've never liked that song for some reason, and I can't even explain why (although I did kind of like the Chris Braide version we got a few months ago). Something about it just puts me off
  8. 1. Greenwich Acid 2. Heart-Shaped Box (studio version) 3. Ben (final version) 4. Garden of Eden 5. .....UFB..... Santa's magic, therefore I can wish for anything Also, if he wanted to throw the Mark Ronson demo of Terrance Loves You in there, I certainly wouldn't complain
  9. I almost wonder if the Paradise version of Yayo was kind of her way of trying to reclaim the Lizzy Grant era from the public with everything that was going on at the time, but instead she tried to make it more "Lana"-esque (which really just ended up feeling really forced, especially when there was never a difference between Lana and Lizzy in the first place). That's most likely not the case, however, I feel like it could make sense if it was. And I've always thought the Paradise version of the song was trying to be a little too sexy for the lyrics, despite the "let me put on a show for you, daddy" lyric lol. Honestly, I love the version of Yayo Lana started doing live in 2016/the LA To The Moon tour. It's simplistic like the Paradise version as well as the AKA version, but her delivery on it is so much better and it feels so much more meaningful.
  10. The issue with the Paradise version of Yayo isn't the production, it's the way Lana sings it. Her vocals on that song sound so different then they do on the rest of the EP, it almost feels like she's forcing her voice to way go lower than it naturally can
  11. I actually heard from a super reliable source (my brain, she's always right, best insider ever) that the next album is actually gonna be Sirens rework with all of the songs having the same autotune as Birds of a Feather
  12. I love looking at Lana's old socials. I think her myspace accounts are the most interesting. There's so much history in those screenshots (and her Facebook posts are absolutely iconic)
  13. I've said this before, but Genius is a super unreliable source. Anyone can edit it (and they do), so unless the song is already out, the lyrics shouldn't be trusted. It's like the Wikipedia of a pre-release
  14. I'm still not over the fact that I thought The Trio was gonna be a cute little minute long interlude with some piano and guitar with lyrics about Nikki Jenny and Lana, and then it turned out to be an Ennio Morricone sample with a trap beat
  15. Since Thunder and Living Legend (and I still hope that the others) were reworked, I'm considering those two to be new songs to me as well
  16. I think that was just a typo since the song is listed on the tracklist as Sweet Carolina
  17. Sweet Carolina is a beautiful, hypnotic song that has not only Chuck and Rob as co-writers, but Rob (and most likely Chuck then) on vocals too?? We won so hard Side note, Lana really does look so much like her dad
