I've been listening to a lot of Lana today, and as I've been listening, it really has showed me why Lana leaving social media isn't surprising. Listen to God Knows I Tried, High By The Beach, Dark But Just A Game, Dance Til We Die, Arcadia or even Coachella and Bartender. I feel like this is something she's been thinking about for a while, at least since early this year/late last year. Fame brings a lot of privilege to a person and I don't think anyone can or would deny that. But getting your privacy essentially stolen from you in some ways can be very difficult to deal with as Lana has shared with us through her music. I think stepping away from social media, at least temporarily, might be helpful in Lana gaining some privacy back (we all know she loves to share parts of her life with us, but it can be nice to have moments that happen away from the cameras stay as just that). The comments about her as a person/her appearance that have come flooding in over the past year haven't been helpful either, I'm sure.

Manifesting that we get at least one interview so that we can find out why Lana picked the unreleased songs she did for this album

It's one of those tracks where you either love it or you hate it. I love it, but there's definitely certain elements of it you have to get used to.

It did leak, but there's a possibility that the version that leaked is a demo (personally, though, I think it's the album version)

This album gets so much better over time. Listening to it feels like seeing an old friend for the first time in a while. It's almost nostalgic despite it only coming out this year. I always liked it, but it feels so different now. My favorites are definitely Yosemite, DTWD and the title track, with White Dress and and DBJAG following close behind.

What do we think the stand-out track of the songs we haven't heard yet is gonna be? I think If You Lie Down With me is gonna be an album highlight (same goes for Black Bathing Suit, song of the century )

The difference in energy between this thread and the Instagram update thread

For me personally, Lana's music is more than enough to keep me connected to her, but I wholeheartedly understand why her deleting her socials is hard for some of us. She's been very active with us and shared so much with us, so it can be difficult to adjust to that going away.

I'm hoping that we get at least one interview during the BB era. It's not completely unrealistic (we got a few during Chemtrails). It'd just be nice to hear from her that way. I'm trying to think of this objectively and remember that before the late 2000s-early 2010s, most artists weren't on social media. RIP Instagram user @/lanadelrey

I kind of wonder if she changed her mind about Instagram. I feel like that would’ve been deleted at the same time as everyone else, but I don’t know. She also took the Blue Banisters link out of her bio so that’s odd

I'm pretty sure that no matter what, her youtube will stay. I don't think she'd delete all of her music videos, especially since she just dropped one (and the era is still starting up)

If someone opened this site right now without any context of the past few days, I seriously think they'd think that Lana was dead

So Twitter's gone, but she just posted a screenshot from High By The Beach....idk I'm taking this as a win because this week has been the most she's acknowledged the Honeymoon era since 2015

I (sadly) don't think she'll be there, but I really hope she is. Lana always looks spectacular at the Met Gala. And with the album coming in a little over a month, it'd be the perfect time.

Part of me feels like she's gonna forget that she posted that and end up keeping everything up That part of me being the delusional part of me
