  1. when RCS is an album that's sonically similar to heroin, venice bitch and flipside >>>
  2. hope lana's doing well, sending her all the love in the world also, side note: i wish some people on instagram would actually look at her posts and not just aimlessly comment random stuff, it comes off as super rude and disrespectful, especially when it's a post about someone who passed away
  3. i'm hoping that this is a mostly collaboration free album, however, i am dying to hear the work she did with jesse rutherford. i don't think we'll be getting that song anytime soon, but from the play with me snippet alone i feel like it could be so great and fit onto rock candy sweet (assuming what the sound of the album is ofc)
  4. finding out that NAWWAL was supposed to be on NFR is something i've found myself thinking about recently. it fits this album so much better in my opinion, i can't imagine it on NFR
  5. ignoring the current...scenario, i am loving these color concepts being thought of rn. i can definitely see the color scheme being something like this (yes, i'm using rock candy as an example, it is in the name after all!)
  6. she looks absolutely stunning, but she also looks really happy in these pictures. she's radiating the happy energy from yosemite that she said lust for life wasn't ready for and i am SO here for it
  7. as someone who loves to dramatically stare out car windows while listening to music, this is such a good album for it
  8. i'm so hyped to see if we get that wilder sound she wanted on RCS. i do love the work lana's done with jack, but i think she as much as most of us are ready for a change. in terms of producers for this album, if she only plans to work with one, then i'm hoping it's zach. the work she's done with him (that we've heard) is magic and it would be a really great/natural progression from NFR and COCC
  9. i just woke up to see this and, wow, she is glowing. this is probably my favorite lana magazine cover in a while - i love it
  10. i'm usually the type to be more realistic and honest with myself about lana releases (ie: not getting my hopes up for things i want to happen and not theorizing), but there's just something about the possibility of RCS that's made me do somewhat of a 180. i find myself wondering if she'll include any unleaked or unreleased tracks like she has with these past two albums, what the color scheme will be, who the producer will be and what the album will sound like, etc.
  11. this is completely opinion based of course, but i really don't see chemtrails as a C+ or lower album. it's not my favorite lana album out of them all, there's just something about it though that has me playing it on loop all day. for me at least, it's definitely a grower.
  12. I just got my vinyl from target today and it is stunning. i love the color of the album itself, the way the gatefold is designed and the cover itself is so beautiful. cannot wait to play this beauty later today
  13. here's my top 20: 1 Heroin 2 The Greatest 3 Yosemite 4 Dark But Just a Game 5 Black Beauty 6 Shades of Cool 7 Terrence Loves You 8 The Blackest Day 9 Honeymoon 10 Flipside 11 Is This Happiness 12 Old Money 13 Pretty When You Cry 14 Brooklyn Baby 15 West Coast 16 Video Games 17 Off to the Races 18 Ride 19 Bel Air 20 Cruel World
  14. when RCS releases and it's just scarface + 12 remixes of it
  15. i feel like this era has been one of reminiscing for her, so i don't think the cherry blossom lyrics in her caption were anything more than her listening to it again and liking it, although it is fun for me to speculate about future releases of unreleased songs and dream lol
  16. plot twist rock candy sweet is a light, airy, flower-themed, garden era with roses bloom for you as the intro and cherry blossom on the tracklist
  17. am i dreaming or did she actually just quote cherry blossom? also glad we have a confirmation that the lyric is "swing it high angelina"
  18. i've been a lana stan since spring of 2017, and after having been through the LFL, NFR and COCC eras before the albums dropped, RCS is the first time i haven't secretly hoped roses bloom for you would be on the album. i don't know why, but something tells me it just wouldn't fit. dealer however...
  19. the arrangement on the tracklist on this album is amazing. there's never a moment for me where somethings feels out of place or that it should be somewhere else on the album. it's cohesive and that's something i really enjoy. also: cannot get NAWWAL out of my head today, such a great song
  20. I think that the title is sort of a juxtaposition. rock candy is hard (fun fact: when i was 8, i lost a loose tooth to rock candy), but it's also sweet and sugary. so there's the hard side, but then there's also the sweet side. i don't know if the title is actually like that or if she just thought of it in her head as something random and was like "hm, sounds good", but i'm looking forward to figuring out the meaning of it either way.
  21. personally i think that "Go. Fuxk. Yourself." will be the Tulsa Jesus Freak/Cinnamon Girl/Cherry of this album
  22. a whole record of songs in the same vein as what lana described dealer to be would be a literal dream
  23. i went on a drive through the country side today while listening to the album, and it was such a magical experience. yosemite and NAWWAL especially were heavenly. i felt like i was in a movie of some sort. i was already in love with the album, but this really solidified it for me
  24. rock candy sweet currently trending on twitter that might not be the best thing though idk today has been hectic as a lana stan
