Pitchfork is kind of notorious for giving Lana scores in the 7s, so that's what I'm expecting from them

This album is already turning out to be polarizing in a sense. I get the same feeling from reading Blue Banisters reviews that I have when I've gone back and read reviews for Ultraviolence and Honeymoon. It's like Lana was first put in the "Born to Die" box, and then she was put into the "NFR" box (Lust for Life was kind of the middle ground between the two, in my opinion) and her stepping out of the box tends to lead to some not so great reviews. The people reviewing the record don't understand it at all.

I'm starting to notice a theme in the reviews, that theme being "It's Not NFR So I Won't Even Try To Listen Outside That Lens"

It's actually not too horrible. There's a few critiques here and there, but I've read far worse Lana reviews (looking @ you Sputnik and that review from earlier today). I don't expect much The Guardian when it comes to Lana, so nothing overly surprising from them this time around

I still think that Dream A Little Dream of Me would be perfect for this album Lana's voice was made for that song. And it would be a bit of a call-back to FILY

Blue Banisters is slowly but surely moving it's way up my title track ranking. I don't know what it is, but for the past week or so it's really been hitting

For me, my experience with the album was so much better when I listened to it start to finish (including the already released songs). The tracklist is kind of messy, yes, but it helps to put things into context a bit better and honestly just made them sound fresher to my ears. These songs feel as though they were made to be together in any order. Also, I have a feeling you're gonna like the new Thunder

I love the hoodie on her site, probably my favorite of the bunch I don't usually buy clothing merch, but I think I might splurge and get that one

Lana when she finds out she can't give the middle finger on national television at the end of Arcadia

She's doing Arcadia on Colbert. Not my first choice, but it'll be a nice way to show off her vocals

This isn't in an order because I genuinely can't do it, but this is what I think are objectively Lana's 10 best songs: Hope is a Dangerous Thing Heroin West Coast Terrance Loves You Honeymoon Get Free Off To The Races Shades of Cool Venice Bitch The Greatest (I think that with time a Blue Banisters song could sneak it's way in here)

The way that whole thing went from them hating on Lana's family to them pretending to be an insider to them admitting to pretending to be an insider to them being horny in all of their posts. I can't say I'm an arcadialovesong2018 fan, but I respect the hustle Also: remember when they threatened to post their own question for the culture
