LDR9 is gonna be titled Rock Candy Sweet with the album cover being taken by David LaChapelle. It'll be a picture of Lana with diamonds all around her and a hot pink rock candy stick in her mouth (i'm refraining from the gif just in case but just know that it's there in spirit)

It's gonna be a lilac purple or rose gold vinyl with the era flower being a Virginia spring beauty

Ugh, you are such a light on this forum Despite all the craziness on this site at times, it really is such a tight-knit and lovely community that I'm so happy to be a part of. All these posts are so sweet so everyone bare with me for a second here because I'm about to get sappy: This was my first pre-release where I actually engaged in discussion instead of lurking around and hiding in the corners of the boards, and I'm so grateful that I got to experience it with so many lovely people. Through all of the fights and the gifgates and the leaks and the trolls we were together, and it was so much fun. I've been on here since NFR's pre-release and I was always so afraid to join in, but I finally did it back in the spring and I'm so happy that I did. I've gotten to interact with so many wonderful people, I look forward to continuing to do so

Blue Jeans is one of my least favorite Lana songs ever I feel like it ends up on every "best LDR song" list and I will never understand why

Oh, for sure. The fact that West Coast wasn't on this list is honestly a crime. I'd also say that the exclusion of Heroin, Hope is a Dangerous Thing and Terrance Loves You is also a crime

It's fine to not like the album, and that wasn't my issue with the article. My issue was that they feel as though it's their place to say how Lana should be telling her story. There also seems as though there's a bias against Lana from the person who wrote the review based on those first few sentences. If you're going to write a review on the album, you have to be objective. Letting your own personal biases bleed into your opinions is never a good idea if you want to be seen as a credible site/reviewer.

If I wrote a review that was that poorly written, I would quit my job and find a new career path

I love that instead of actually talking about the album, they criticize Lana for how she chooses to talk about her own life (sarcasm). I don't listen to people who can't even type her name correctly in the title of their article

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to every review talking about Lana as a person and not about the actual music. They've been doing that to her since BTD and will probably continue to do so
