Please someone. While I'm in the south of France eating some vegetables, could you explain the post I quoted ? And why this shit has so many likes ?

    Regards.

After a lot of searching, I've found that it's Florentine Script II

You've lost me too. This is my own joking and fantasies, since she was talking about surrealism and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. It is really the vast field for flood of associations

I would bet my life on her referencing "Marcello, come here" at least once.

Or "Amarcord Amour", "Giulietta and the Spirits of Tahiti", "Waikiki Tide", "Cinnamon Sheikh", "Lovers and Liars", "Rainbow Unicorn", "Diamond Pills", "Exotica", "Maharaja's Babe", "Mirage Summer", "Harem Harlot", "Lisergic Acid Mistress", "Pearl Pale Concubine", "Volcanic Vulva", "Lava Lust", "Scarlet Opium Siren", "Sylvia Plath is Dead", "Flowers of Saint Francesco", "Brothel of Fickle Muses", "Blood Orange Ocean", "Cherry Knot Nymph", "Hurricane Licks", "Mango Phantom", "Palm Trees on Fire", "Trouble in Acapulco", "Wild Strawberries", "Carnal Coral Crime", "Queen of Fucking Everything" (it's not meant to be funny, just my associations of flying carpet Italian director and other miscellanea).

That really doesn't make sense; the fact that she'd follow a currently inactive account, because she doesn't follow very many accounts anyway. It made me think of the Tumblr page made right before UV. Totally forgot about it till now.

They mean that you can't see when an instagram account was created, ever. This doesn't detract from the plausability of the account as a outlet of future news and promo for the record at all. There have been no posts as of yet, but I doubt Lana would just arbitrarily create an account called HONEYMOON to troll her fans, it's even less likely that she saw that someone else made an account named after her upcoming record and she found it on instagram then chose to follow it.

I think people need to have a bit more faith in Lana, in terms of her working with Emile. I mean, if you didn't like 'Wait For Life' then I get why you wouldn't want her to work with him for 'Honeymoon', but there's a reason why that song didn't end up on UV and ended up on his song, even though he said it was originally planned for UV. She obviously has more control on the music she puts on her album and probably didn't want it as much as the other songs so unless the songs he makes with her are up to standard I doubt she will put them on 'Honeymoon'.

I think Lana's desire to use surrealist lyrics for this album is brilliant in a number of ways, not least of which being that it is a big "fuck you" to those who accuse her lyrics of being inauthentic. Rather than stripping them down and removing the parts of her lyrics through which she is "dreaming," she decides to embrace fantasy. I love it.

    This is interesting...

" I feel that the three records were so heavy and autobiographical. It’s been so cathartic. I like to use my previous work as a jump-off point to do something new. I’m ready to go into more of a ‘Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds’ surrealist place. That’s why I really do like what I heard about Fellini and all of the movies that were overdubbed and the actors were counting and not saying lines. I couldn’t believe that.

I want to see her doing something like "Warpainting" by The Myrrors . Psychedelic rock suits her so well .

    He's a good producer, though.

I'm definitely hoping that Lana stays in the bluesy rock realm for this album...it just suits her so well. Something like Duffy's Rockferry or the work of Dusty Springfield would be ideal. Jazzy rock.

Are we just going to ignore the fact that Lana was with Matthew Bellamy yesterday of Muse? More rock for Honeymoon, please.

    Agreed.

Lana, if you're lurking, make an album with David Lynch!!! He's perfect for you. He combines jazz and dream pop effortlessly. Also, he and Lana both have that "seemingly innocent but sinister under the surface" thing going on in their work.

God, imagine Lana's Floating into the Night

if Kahne came back, I honestly would die of happiness

I don't want Auerbach returning just like I don't want Haynie returning. Either one would color the sound too much and it'd sound either like UV2 or BTD2. The one producer I'd like to return is Kahne because he was able to produce the widest variety of tracks. Unlike BTD and UV, none of the songs on AKA really sound like each other, but it's still a cohesive work. Unfortunately, I don't think that's ever gonna happen again.

PWYC is repetitive lyrically and melodically. Don't tell me it doesn't sound similar to "his Bonnie on the side, Bonnie on the side" from Sad Girl.

Cruel World, Brooklyn Baby, Shades Of Cool, West Coast, Florida Kilos, these are the least repetitive and most varied choruses on UV. The rest feature varying levels of repetition, on a scale of Guns and Roses to Sad Girl.

Lana has mentioned coming up with melodies and then someone else creating chords and such for it. Pretty clearly cowriting (And they supply "just" the musical composition? That's arguably the most important part of songwriting).
In any case cowriting is so common nowadays I don't think anyone can "fault" her for that. And the insecure should be happy to know about Lana's early songs like Axl Rose Husband that show her lyrical creativity on her own.

I beg to differ... repeating Black Beauty twice after 'Oh, what can I do?/Life is beautiful but you don't have a clue/Sun, and ocean blue, that magnificence/It don't make sense to you' is def not repetitive

U are not bashing one of Lana's best songs

Producers: I'm fine with Emile coming back for a couple songs. Not necessarily the whole thing tho. I'm excited to see what Ronson does if does anything.I think trying new producers would be for the better tho. It gives different vibes. Kanye producing would be fuckin excellence in my opinion.(let me bold that before people get an attitude about how I feel.)

Genre: I'm partial to the hip-hop beats. But I would love to see like noir-like her unrealeased song called noir. Or like Dum Dum type of sound. I think her jazz sound would be interesting too tho.

Lyrical content: I like Lana's stories, they're always so interesting to see where she goes with them. Her storytelling is always so far from the norm with the topic. Like most wouldnt talk about being with a cult leader lol.

Artwork: I hope its in color again, but I'd be okay with black and white too. I want Lana to not look so somber in it though--but I guess that's okay depending on the topics of the songs. But judging from the title, I expect soft yellows idk why. Kinda like the West Coast cover.
