I did not mean to question your statement (and I already tried myself ) but it's possible that those are just working-titles. I mean BAR was registered as Architecture and (even considering her recent songtitles like GBAAATBWII or HIADTFOALMTHBIHI) I doubt she would have released it like that.

So ... if this is legit then "California" is not "The Greatest" and "Cinnamon Girl" is not "Fuck it, I love you".

Funny enough, I think the swearing in Cherry is really on point. The whole song is not really a lyrics-heavy piece, everything from the words to the production is just super intense, sexual and melodramatic. That's what makes it such a good tune. The swearing is random but I really like it and feel like it actually adds something to the tracks vibe. The song where I do find her use of language annoying is hope is a dangerous thing. It's such a stripped down, intimate and beautiful track and then she sings about her "fucking white dress" and how she's "shaking her ass". It just feels out of place and kind of kills the vibe

I like Hope but it's not single material, especially not when we are all so thirsty and exhausted. Cinnamon or In Your Car (or the fully produced version of How To Disappear) seem like songs that have a bigger single potential (Lana-wise, not concerning their radio potential ... obviously) The only snippet I'm not the biggest fan of so far is Happiness Is A Butterfly, but I'd even take that track as a single right now.

I really hope that Cinnamon is "Fuck it, I love you" - really the best snippet so far and a track that could hold me over until the album.

The Greatest could probably be the "you don't have to be stronger" song? The guy looks nice - much better than most of her past MV bois. Exciting. I hope this does not get scrapped or ends up as a VB/HIAB/MAC "video". Hopefully it REALLY comes soon and she's not hyoing us up for nothing.
