  1. I thought 'money on the side' meaning like some sort of prostitution reference
  2. Old Money is perfection from the sounds of it, and I can't wait to hear how the two different snippets we have will match up with one another, particularly for PWYC and MPG. FMWUTTP sounds amazing now too, a bit faster than the other songs which I LOVE.
  3. I'm already obsessed with Pretty When You Cry (which I think is my current favourite along with Florida Kilos), Money Power Glory, Old Money, The Other Woman, Guns and Roses and Florida Kilos. Love the sexy sound of Sad Girl too, and I'll need to hear more of Cruel World to decide on that one, although this is seriously all sounding amazing!
  4. From Cola: Harvey's in the sky with diamonds, and he's making me crazy/ Ollie wants to do his party with his pretty baby. Don't ask, I always knew Ollie wasn't right but I can't not hear it now haha! From Queen of Disaster: Got mascara thick, I get emotional/ You know I was more than just a particle
  5. I didn't love this song immediately, but like every other Lana song, it got into my head so I was compelled to listen to it again and again and now I'm in love. Beyond ready for this album!
  6. So now the song appears to have been totally removed from the UK iTunes, fml
  7. Welp it doesn't look like I'm getting this tonight, this is about to be ultraviolence, for reals
  8. Has that worked for you? It doesn't for me :/ I know it will probably become available in like 10 minutes and this is just a glitch but I want it NOW dammit! Considering potentially paying another 99p for it from the standard version, although that is just messed up, typical iTunes!
  9. WHY is this not on the UK iTunes?! Every new song seems to premiere on a UK radio station and then get released several weeks later, great marketing strategy!!! Edit: As of now, it is available but not if you've preordered the deluxe edition of the album, WTF?!
  10. 1. How did you discover Lana? When and What Era? Saw the Video Games video on MTV (odd, they never do music these days!) after hearing the name Lana Del Rey for weeks but assuming it was some dance/DJ act for some reason. So around September 2011, the beginning of the BTD era. 2. First song(s)? Video Games, which was swiftly followed by Off to the Races when I saw it was single of the week on iTunes. Then I remember waiting until midnight to download Born to Die when it came out (and I had school in the morning, that's commitment!) and since then, I've listened to probably most if not all of her songs at least once. 3.what did you think? I instantly sat up and took notice when I heard that voice and saw that video. Several listens on YouTube later and I was hooked. 4. Your favourite song(s)? Too many to decide, currently loving all things Ultraviolence but I've recently been loving My Best Days, Last Girl on Earth and Never Let Me Go as well as the classics - Ride, National Anthem, Kill Kill, Jump, Pawn Shop Blues... 5. Least favourite song(s)? I really don't know. There are a lot I've listened to and then pretty much forgotten about - but then a lot of songs I've done that to then gone back and loved them so... I haven't really got into much of the May Jailer/Sirens era stuff though (yet!) 6. What song(s) "grew" on you? Yayo, the AKA version is haunting and amazing. The whole AKA album grew on me actually, particularly Yayo, Raise Me Up and Queen of the Gas Station. 7. Whats your favourite Lana era as of now? (May jailer, Lizzy Grant, Lana Del Rey) Lana Del Rey 8. Favourite Album(s)? I think it will be Ultraviolence but I guess AKA or one of the unreleased albums I've created on iTunes. 9. Least favourite(s) ? None. 10. Favourite song preformed live? Body Electric live is far superior to the studio version, and the recent leak of Ultraviolence live sent shivers down my spine. 11. First song/Album purchased/Downloaded? Video Games or Off to the Races 12. Favourite song quote/lyric? 'I'm tired of feeling like I'm fucking crazy' 'It's nice to love and be loved but I'd rather know what God knows' 'The night time is almost ours'
  11. You can buy Burning Desire on its own without buying the whole album, hopefully it will be the same for Is This Happiness.
  12. This sounds like fate, I'll be going to America just in time to buy the Target deluxe edition!
  13. That makes so much more sense in the context of the song! I must have read invincible somewhere but you're right, it does sound more like 'unfixable', thanks!
  14. It reminded me of Summertime Sadness a little initially too, but then it changed and I loved it! Seriously cannot wait for this album!
  15. Love love LOVE the instrumental at the end. But I wish the whole song was a bit longer, and it cuts off so suddenly too!
  16. Pawn Shop Blues by far, followed by Black Beauty, Afraid and maybe Never Let Me Go and American too for some reason.
  17. I still think it's forlorn but stretched like 'Baby I'm a for--ah-lorn fire'. I kind of understand four-alarm too with the sirens reference next but forlorn fits better IMO! Shades of Cool - not really a misheard lyric, but she seems to pronounce 'invincible' as 'un-vincible' which mildly annoys me each time I listen.
