OMG NO WAY we just got another album's worth of material with FN outtakes all 10 + Choose You Again and Worst Enemy are really good! I wonder if that's finally it from the FN sessions or is there even more

I lowkey fear she sometimes uses EP and album terms as synonyms iirc even Kerli herself has referred to Shadow Works as her third album, as Utopia was her second but it was an EP... unless she's referring to the full album that was shortened into an EP. idk. But yeah somehow I don't think there was an album where 21st Century Kids belonged to. Its release was so slow idk, and for Alchemise she immediately announced its parent EP, so it's more likely OVERSOUL has been in the making and then she decided to give Joy a chance with 21CK - though I suspect fan reaction contributed to its suspension.

Ooooh I bet you'll like the 2016 singles then! Check Feral Hearts, Blossom, Diamond Hard and Spirit Animal. Among her best material! I don't think it's confusing at all, she likes to keep us hanging on her comments. I know it's underwhelming but at least it's a body of work and not just a string of singles... I think it's pretty much confirmed it will be a 5-track EP + she's said in the past she doesn't believe in the album concept anymore so I lowkey doubt we'll get another album from her, at least in a while. But if she decides to be releasing EPs every 1.5 or 2 years, that would be much better than her long seasons without releasing music... we'll see

Alchemise is SO GOOD! Back to form, I hope the rest of the EP sounds this great. 5 tracks, I think it's titled OVERSOUL? Sounds like a brilliant title already. ngl I'm so glad the Joy thing is out the window for now. If it comes back, I hope it's with renewed energy

    Ryn Weaver

I like both but I definitely prefer Ryn
  6. tbh I like all of her albums (my favourites are debut and Infinite Things) but to be fair, yes, her debut is her most authentic, eccentric, creative, and unique. Fall to Grace still has some of that, but then A Perfect Contradiction is like 50/50 to me, then The Architect sounds very mainstream-pleasing although it has its bops, Infinite Things feels somewhat watered down (although it's top 2 for me, surprisingly), and we'll see what comes with her next album in February anyways, nice to find someone else who listens to Paloma!

wait You're Welcome and Savage Ballerina are Dirt Femme? I have them in my Sunshine Kitty folder lol

It's not that - happens to me as well. It must be some bug. But if you right click the reaction and select 'open in new tab' the reaction is added. idk why but it works lol. I'm also having issues with embedding things like YouTube/Instagram posts so idk what happened.
  9. This is not confirmed to exist, but I just know it would be a total slay if it did! Candy is overdue by now, I can't believe it hasn't leaked in full yet.
  10. lmao Sky Ferreira and Ryn Weaver came to mind as both have only released one album, until I read the first post In those terms, definitely Melanie Martinez. Cry Baby outshines her subsequent releases - although I get to listen to them all, her debut remains her best to me. and maybe Doja Cat with Planet Her. The rest have their standouts but as a whole PH is more consistent I guess. I'll dare saying Ariana Grande, but I'm cheating a little because I'm debating whether Dangerous Woman or Sweetener would take the crown, but as I enjoy both that would be two-album wonder? lol what
  11. How polarising our opinions are. My favourite Kim material is in Problématique (og tracklist) and Feed the Beast, although there are skips here and there. Era 1 is nice but I skip like half of it, and same with Clarity. As for Turn Off the Light, it's very Halloween-themed for me to enjoy it any other time on the year, and we don't know/care about Slut Pop.
  12. I would absolutely love an album in this vein do we know who she's working with for her next album?

i WISH you could FEEL LIKE THIS swimming in the SWIMMING POOL OF BLISS psycheDELIC SHIT it's a FREAKY FRIDAY WE COULD SWITCH
  14. the amount of incredible songs that have been scrapped that she has is insane. In Your Heart, Express Your Needs, Sky Could Change, Anarchy, Love Not Simple, Guilty, Sex Magixk, Lost Boy, Fools Gold, Wild and Alone... girl could have two more albums effortlessly in her discography
  15. lol I'm just listening to Guilty (there's like 30 leaks I haven't really paid attention yet) and it's so good? do we know if a more finished version exists? it sounds like some parts are open verses, and the vocals are clearly unpolished but I'd love a final version

No Roots album? The earth shook a little Now that is something I didn't expect to happen, I really hoped that there was something very in the vein of Feral Hearts, Blossom and Diamond Hard hiding somewhere. Alchemise is really good, it sort of give me dark Shadow Works vibes but infused with the magic of the 2016 singles? idk I think this new era could be a sort of continuation (in style and aesthetics, not a sequel per se) of those three songs. I can't wait for it to happen! Fingers crossed for an album. It's definitely a huuuuuge improvement after 21st Century Kids, which to date I haven't really enjoyed. I'm so happy however that she cleared it up. Did you, by any chance, ask her about the other two songs she did for Alice Through the Looking Glass soundtrack aside from Racing Time? I think the titles are Follow Your Compass and In the Ocean of Time, and I think it'd be lovely if she could give us those two for free like she did with Racing Time. Thanks for sharing the info!
  17. idk it's what I've heard around. I only listened to it once and I didn't really like it so i don't recall much about it as I never replayed it. is it older then?
  18. then give me the mixtape lol i need Candy in my library like yesterday
  19. ZAYN - Icarus Falls (2018). The official tracklist is tremendously boring and random the way it was released, but I think splitting it into two records improves the experience: Let Me Entertainer Dusk Till Dawn (feat. Sia) Common Clean version Back to Life If I Got You Sour Diesel I Don't Mind Rainberry Fingers Insomnia Tonight Scripted Too Much ZAYN - Icarus Falls Side B (2019) Icarus Falls Good Guy You Wish You Knew Talk to Me Natural There You Are Satisfaction Fresh Air Good Years No Candle No Light and a couple others had no business existing lol
  20. Glitter Boy

    Sia

I think both are legit, the shorter one (V2) apparently is a later demo than the V1.
  21. Glitter Boy

    Melanie Martinez

Aside from the rather boring production in most of K-12, my most avid problem with it is the unnecessary amount of swear words. It just ruins the songs for me, I get a couple ones but literally saying a curse every 15 seconds? Girl... Even if Cry Baby has a large usage of profane lyrics, it's not too on the nose, so it's not even a problem. So remove the first three tracks and like 60% of the profane language in K-12, and the album really could have improved.
  22. lmao goodnight n go is wayyyy overrated imo, sorry but to be fair i kept a version of tlic without the horrible sample of the man screaming, it improves the track
