It's finally happening! She just posted a snippet of a MV with a teaser for the track, and she says the proper lead single of her upcoming album is coming next month. The teaser sounds dreamy No pre-save link yet but it must be a matter of days.

I mean XCX World was meant to be an album since the beginning, but Candy seems kinda rushed so it's not quite the same, just a bunch of new tracks combined with some older tracks. Obvs XCXW is the superior unreleased album ever but Candy has some bops and I'm a completionist so I want it in full in my library nowwww

If XCX World would still have had a chance to be released, at least as an EP, which songs would have you chosen? Considering After the Afterparty, Boys, Girls Night Out and No Angel were released as standalone singles anyway, I think I'd choose these: Bounce (feat. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu) Taxi Down Like Whoa The One I Die 4 Can You Hear Me? Waterfall Summer Love, Pop the Balloons and Blow Your Mind are also really good.

oooh right. apparently a bunch of demos with a tracklist that was supposedly briefly in consideration for release in 2023 before Feed the Beast took shape and was released instead. The draft is from after Problématique's initial release (2022) was scrapped but before Feed the Beast was formed, so early 2023. It consists of a mix of 2021-2022 tracks with old demos like Choker and Dirty Dirty (2015), Fascination and Pressure (2020). It's unknown if the older tracks were ever re-recorded. This is the tracklist, and the bold ones are already leaked. Control Candy Tough Luck Dirty Dirty Gimme Sum Say Something Crave It Fascination Pressure Choker Eventually Finessed It Official Girl And we have snippets of Gimme Sum and Official Girl iirc. idk if the rest are circulating

I totally get you on the it's not that serious topic - except that it wasn't a fun era for me lol, it was just too on the nose that it ended up feeling annoying, more than the first part. But past the initial disappointment I'll just go back to listen to what I like from Kim's catalog lol. HHH has a very nice instrumental, I would've loved it if it was a completely different track tbh. Same for a couple more songs.

I knew I was right about this thing Okay so most is utter trash, BUT surprisingly there are a few things I liked. I like the beat in Banana Boat. Just the beat, because she sounds bored af (like in most of the mixtape). Get Fucked is kinda hypnotic and the vocoder addition is interesting, it sounds much better than all SP1. Head Head Honcho has a great production, and some nice melodies, but the lyrics are ridiculous at the verses. Can We Fuck is also nice, I think it could potentially fit in Problématique much better than Treat Me Like a H0e so yeah. PS - Whale C0ck isn't it lmao, I saw people hyping it so I was expecting something but The only tracks I could eventually play sometime are Get Fucked, Head Head Honcho (I'll try and find a way to replace those verses with someone else) and Can We Fuck. Everything else is laughably bad idc idc.
