    also i hope focus makes the record and this is the lead single rather than it being a one-off.  would feel equally disjointed to the mess that was unsolved.

    This is already way more attractive than "searching for myself" for CLX II.

    If this is about Focus, then we have a song called "Not so bad in L.A.", seems like the city might be the main point for the record.

    tbf I swear she said she wanted masochism to be a long album. Like over 16 songs

    But that was in like 2015 so who knows

     

    I just... for real the fact no name change was announced... but she probably wrote more than 1 album already with this long wait. Back in 2015\2016 it felt like it was already halfway there, the way she teased everything...

     

     

    If it ever comes out watch it be like 10 tracks KSHSBSBSBSB

    At this point I expect ~Masochist~ to be a double album with 13 tracks each CD. That's the only plausible reason to keep mixing something that was meant to be out like 2 years ago or so.

    I know. It's also weird to think that FROOT is Marina's first worldwide release, both Electra Heart and TFJ and their singles were released at different times (months apart almost) in the UK and the US. But they were released before streaming was so big and release rollouts were different. Regional release dates are a thing of past I suppose.

     

    and sadly that was mainly the reason all her singles just don't work out nnn

     

    I used to hope that someday she would kinda "get it right" with her "team" but after froot and "I kinda like the place where I'm right now" while talking about Fame... Feels like it will just... keep the same mess :creep: 

     

    It's kinda sad cuz sometimes I feel that Marina really had potential to be "a name" sometimes. Not like the A-List Popstar selling out arenas etc, but she could get her singles at least charting inside top30 or something (at least in UK nnn).

     

    I'm not sure how things used to work back then, but I've always wondered how or why the HTBAH video was released in like mid\end 2012 but the single itself was released only in 2013 (source: wikipedia) ?? like, the only promo the song had was basically that video and the single was released months after??

    Besides Neon Gold, all her labels have been smaller labels run by Atlantic.

    Neon Gold released The Crown Jewels and Obsessions/Mowgli's Road 7'and then she signed with 679

    679/Atlantic released TFJ and EH in UK

    Chop Shop and Elektra released TFJ and EH in the US

     

    Atlantic and Neon Gold released FROOT world wide

     

     

    tbh i have no ideia of what it is like to be on such a roll and if it's like the same people over all these labels or everytime she had to go for someone new to try to put the material out or what......  :lanasrs2:

    Perched she's still "owing" the Honeymoon hotline number, or maybe I have no idea of how these things work and when the album campaign was over they just placed anything there to worth the coins. 

     

    Bit odd she seems to be hidden\no news since the tour. 

    Imagine if she's mixing and mastering all the songs... right now.


     

     

    These are so random that they can be real.

    I really don't even bother to question anything after ... "summer bummer"... anymore. Hoping the music is just great and that's it.

    Done! New shows included Hawai, Minneapolis, Detroit, Berlin, etc.

    I don't think there will be anymore shows coming and couldn't do the right exact math about total grossing from all the shows but, anyway....

     

     

    Lollapaloozas were all sold out + Toronto.

     

    Biggest show (public wise) was at Lollapalooza Brazil (100.000)

    Biggest show (grossing wise) was at Qudos Bank Arena. Sydney, Australia ($1,215,120)

    "Worst" show (public wise) was at Wells Fargo Center. Philadelphia, United States (7,178 / 15,392 (46%)

    Smallest show (grossing wise) was at Waikiki Shell. Honolulu, United States ($348,147)

    Well, Downtown is the best song on CLX II, after all. Unlike Allie, us fags realized that.  :hooker:

     

    I'm still 95% she somehow just released Paper Love to troll us after we called the song weak and hoped it wasn't the lead.

    Even Need You sounded way more interesting on that hotline mess.

     

    I remember she teased Downtown "a lot" (same with Lifted) and I really thought she would end up releasing one of them as an "official single". both had good numbers on spotify too

     

    Ugh it's so sad how the album campaign just went wrong. Her "fav moments in the X world" and "CLX II began: paper love - CLX II ending: Casanova video"

    GIRL.................

     

    I think her "mistake" was trying to milk Casanova with endless trying and in the end... it just felt like missed spot. The song was an instant grant I mean... no reason to try it later after everyone on the blogsphere already knew it since u dropped it with ur album pre-order......

    She went from underground-queen-of-twitter to boring-no-need-social-media attention type in the timescape of... 3 years?

     

    Have you guys ever seen all the retweets on that "I just found out that the world doesn't revolve around me. Shocked and Upset" tweet???

    Probably more retweets than all the froot singles + album WW sales all together.

    Really like, Downtown was released 1 month after the official Paper Love video and it almost outdid it.

    the teasing of HIAB so early is probably the most annoying thing, besides the potential Cherry video being scrapped, Lana has done. she IS her own person absolutely and has the right to do whatever, but it sucks as fans to have hope built up and don't have a concluding product soon. being a Lana fan though DOES come with the heartbreak of false hope.
