I think I feel super excited about the songs from 2012-2013... way more than CLX II outtakes at all (which I really wanted Boyfriend \ Offering \ Lifeline but...)

Now "Never Again" "La Bamba" "Party's Over"... these are legends and I never heard them. but most came from the same session as never enough so they're all blessed

Someone mentioned about not thinking that L4L is that "messy" and I find it pretty "cohesive" and I totally agree even if it' just us nn.

It starts with the "pop-iest" songs aka Love\L4L\13 Beaches\White Mustang\Cherry, it really goes into the trap zone for Cherry\Summer Bummer\Groupie Love\In My Feelings\Coachella and then it goes for the full "folk-acoustic-inspired" songs for the rest. And I think Get Free kinda goes back to where the album starts. I really think all the songs work at the tracklist, Xpecially Coachella. The outro is just gorgeous and it's just beautiful as the rest of the second part of the album....

Also probably already mentioned but once again: I loved this tour, I love the dancers and the choreo. It was all just... pure magic. It really brings something new to her table, got me thinking of when people used to say that her "music is so slow and sleepy".

People talking about her vocals... I feel a bit skeptical about it because the choreo at least serves as a "excuse" to why getting messy sometimes, but I don't think her live vocals were... ever...next to 100% at all. Not during Paradise or Endless Summer for sure. Of Course there was a few times where she really killed performing some random song or really did well but it's not like her live vocal is her top-notch-reason-to-stan-her. But I'm not saying they're bad!!!! hahahahahahahaha.

Back for the choreo, watching her moving on White Mustang... it was just a really stupid move but she was looking so happy for doing that and I got to admitt that... it was sexy. It was just really sexy and... it worked so well even thought it was so silly. Feels so much better than to imagine herself standing there, static, singing the song just to put the vocals live.

I think it's pretty clear that it's really close to her heart. She performed many songs on different times an there's still time to bring more back (I never really expected MTWBT to come out of nowhere). 

It's just like how half ultraviolence was never performed after getting actually released. 

This time around it would be nice if she cut the tracklist a lil shorter and then came with heavy packed deluxe.

Like, Ultraviolence original tracklist was made of 11 songs, then 3 for deluxe, 1 for itunes and another for FNAC and also like "West Coast radio edit" = 17 songs.

But if it's just to put like 1 gorgeous song and 2 meh songs then she can keep it. The outtakes are better than deluxe tracks...ugh.

I like long albuns but I feel that shorter tracklist makes it easier to be cohesive and she would probably cut the songs that could be... "really extra" 

I went to this show last minute, but it really did look sold out. I'm pretty sure it actually was. Remember the photos/videos during Love where everyone shined their phone flash lights? I'm almost 100% sure that it was the Toronto show. Thousands of lights. Anyways, thanks for this thread! It's interesting to see how much she makes during her tours

Yeah, I know she invested a lot of her own money from touring into the CBB visuals so it was never about promo, but it's still not being very smart about investing. Pacify Her was a shit video and you could tell the budget was a lot higher for MPH which was significantly better. The videos that seemed smaller budget like PH, Dollhouse, etc were just not very good and didn't even need to be made tbh, the money spent making them could have gone towards making the bigger videos even better. 

 

Now that people are getting restless about wanting all this info that she's been teasing (plus the accusations and the fact that CBB didn't age very well) the fact that there's still apparently nothing on schedule for the next month is pretty bad. Her fans (the ones left anyways) are arguably more dedicated now than ever and announcing AT LEAST a title could do her well

The next release will be really important to see how she'll go after the whole mess and if there's still people fully supporting her. She said something about "finishing bonus tracks" like over one year ago, the whole movie producing thing... I mean she said something about "Spring 2018" at last years Lollapalooza Brasil I think? No way they really didn't finish the whole thing. 

I think they were dumb not re-releasing Cry Baby as album + DVD with every video and the deluxe tracks slipped in lol she had hype to get some sales.

I mean, if they printed the album as a "hardcover book" version just because of the booklet...

Controversy aside she's not very good at business lmao.. she always has such a long waiting period between releases, even if it's music videos, and they're never even worth the wait (like the MH video). She always overpromises and underperforms. Just look at the CBB era as a whole

I think the videos situtattion is kinda different. The whole "I wanna do a visual album" was more of a personal pleasure of hers than really believing it would somehow get "big promo" etc (yet she's still managing to get some good views). Her label tried "singles" but not sure how it worked, I remember Soap being sent to radios etc but that was it.

the first videos took some time but she also released like Pacify Her & Mr Potato Head under 1 month each...I still believe she was trying to put the second album right after Mad Hatter but they decided to work on the movie to be released together and... now this whole thing just fked up lol.

Yeah both songs done by Chris Braide. OWTH was the first one and then she decided to scrap it and recycled some of the lyrics for Ghost. Don't get me wrong, LOVE Ghost but OWTH is the superior song lbr
