tbh im not even mad about the album being scrapped because i'd rather lana put out something that she's happy with and invested in, im more so mad that i bought tickets to an upcoming show in the hopes of hearing a few new songs but now those new songs of which i speak do not exist oh well! i'm sure it'll still be fun and who knows, maybe she'll mix the setlist up a little this time around -

i may not be a moderator but i am actually the official lanaboards HR manager its true -
very surprised given the aesthetics! not overly mad at it because i’m sure i’ll find it fun, but i do think hearing reviews (like yours!) has tempered my expectations a LOT and thank goodness bc i really was expecting a full on dark industrial pop album! thanks for the info

Hi RIP ivory almond, Hope you're keeping well and enjoying the run up to Spring! Here in the UK it feels like we've been due some sun for quite some time now, and we're finally getting it - I hope the weather is similarly pleasant for you down there in the grave! I'm writing to you today to ask if it would be possible for you to remove the attached post. I would like to make it clear that nobody has pointed this post out to me - I came across it independently. With that in mind, there is no need to point fingers. My reason for asking is that I am sure many of us find the content of the attached post disturbing. I, myself, am currently battling some pretty severe bouts of nausea and have recently developed quite a sensitive stomach; when I came across the attached post, I was instantly overcome with a feeling of sickness. I am keenly aware that many of our LanaBoards colleagues have their own struggles, particularly with mental health; my concern is that your suggestion - one which would not be unusual to Mrs Lana Del Dufrene, and one which she would likely be endeared to should she ever come across it, potentially making it a reality - may worsen symptoms of depression and anxiety in our colleagues, due entirely to its disturbing nature. I am sure you created your post as a joke. But let me be clear: this is no laughing matter. Throughout her career, Lana has included sounds of her vape crackling, her voice mails, conversations with her friends and other extraneous soundbites in her music - I would not put it past her to also include something as intimate and, frankly, unsettling as you suggested. Heed my words: do not encourage her any more than she needs to be. Thank you for your time and attention today. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns you would like to share. Warm regards, daphnedinkley (Head of Wellbeing and Co-Chair of Protection of the Sanctity of Art Deco) -
oooh!! i've been spinning discovery by daft punk like crazy over the last couple months so maybe this album is just what i need

so intrigued by your takes! i haven't listened yet - how would you say the record compares to her other albums and do you think the nine inch nails / grunge / industrial influence comes thru at all?

YESSSSSS you get me!! -
haven’t listened to the full song yet but i have listened to a fair bit of it and yea Garden of Eden is just giving 2000s cosplay which is what i was worried about - i’m personally not a fan of that since we have so many people already riding that wave in pop and i don’t feel like the approach is creative enough to justify how reductive the song itself is (at least from what i heard, maybe there’s an insane switch up towards the end that i haven’t heard or something lol). but that’s just my opinion! still excited for the rest of the album! i wonder when she’ll announce the tour? and do we think it’s gonna be an eras-style tour like was rumoured?

i hope the full length garden of eden sounds a little more full and a little less cheap cuz idk about her so farrrrrr……. but it’s just a snippet in a random poor audio quality IG reel so i’m sure it will be fine lol
