She is still in New York and has two shows later this month but idk it feels like a perfect time now to release sth or announce sth, if not this month then in June before her special and fun Boston show Really hoping she performs a Lasso song on her summer shows. Tbh I didn't have high expectations for this but I have to admit I liked it, it's a cute and fun album for summer My favorites are End Of An Era, Houdini, Training Season, Falling Forever, Maria and Happy For You (I would even say HFY is the best song on the album) The rest kinda sounded a bit sameish to me and typical Dua idk how to explain it but I don't mean it in a bad way since I enjoyed them but they didn't stood out to me/clicked with me like my faves did Anything for love was good too but I need more of the actual song, it is so short Overall for me this is not AOTY but like someone else already said it is a polished pop album and it is fun for summer and imo not a bad album, so it's a win

Actually what I am still thinking about is when she started doing the country album. I know she said 4 years and technically since she said it in 2024 it would mean 2020 but since it was still the beginning of 2024 and knowing Lana I guess 2019 is the year which makes sense since she started to visit the Midwest alot in that year. But knowing that I think it's not likely that Hey Blue Baby and Stupid For Being So Happy appear on Lasso. Not that I don't want them but she sang them at the end of 2018 and we are not aware that studio versions of those exist. However she could have remembered and recorded them later but I don't know how realistic that is Though I think this makes it more likely that LYTAN actually could appear on Lasso, since it was apparently made in 2019/2020, at least that's my guess since it was a COCC and BB outtake and maybe she decided it would fit on Lasso in the end. And I hope we get an interview in which she talks about the working process of Lasso because I think that could actually be quite interesting Anyways maybe I was just bored and are in need for Lasso news but anyway thanks for reading it

Tbh Not All Who Wander Are Lost and Yosemite became like sister tracks to me. I know she said that TNBAR is the sister track of Yosemite and I can definitely see it but I really love Nawal and Yosemite being next to each other. The way she puts them on the tracklist just feels like it was meant to be and I can't really explain it further but they do feel like sister tracks to me

I actually would love if she starts the rollout with an album trailer so I came up with a delusional roll out May 3rd: Lana teases /hints at something May 10th: Lasso album trailer (showing the release date or month at the end) + single announcement May 17th: First Lasso single drops + she performs it at her Alabama show A few days later: Music video for the first single drops Mid June : Interview Last week of June: Lana posts the album cover with a single and pre order announcement July 4th or 7th : Second single with a radio premiere and radio interview + pre order with tracklist reveal Early August: Interview Mid/ End of August : lives debut the third Lasso single at one of her August shows, third Lasso single gets released end of August /early September September : maybe another interview , TV performance, a music video and a live stream on release day, Lasso pop up shop Third music video in October /November
