Really loved this interview, it felt so Lana and gave us some really interesting insights and the photoshoot served. But I can't still decide if it is giving 60's actress or 60's witch but slayed anyways I loved the way she talked about her stage name " It was as if my name had the ocean" Also I love the less cryptic insight into her thought process about Lasso and yeah it it's definitely gonna get another title but really excited for the turn into a more southern gothic direction. Ngl this interview kinda brought back my interest and excitement for the next album and I'm willing to wait patiently now Especially since we might get a tour doc Maybe that tour doc will be the first step into a direction of a movie about her life. She definitely has sth in mind for a movie like that So the Priscilla movie song got mentioned now a few times and we need to get to hear it . I hope Lana decides to release it as a standalone single to pay some tribute or maybe it really will be the next 24 Now I could get my Delulu dress on and say maybe the two singles will be non LDR10 related and will be the Priscilla song and Zodiac (as it was rumored) with the overall topic of paying some tribute. Paying tribute to Priscilla and paying tribute to the victims.Idk if that would make even sense or would be kinda weird but thanks for coming to my delulu talk

I mean I am happy that we got at least an update in some form. Sure we won't get Lasso anytime soon, if we get it, but I am happy we didn't get a fake date or a promise that we get sth by the end of the year *Delusion on * But if Lasso takes a while maybe it would be really nice idea to release an EP with some of her favorite album outtakes or release an outtake like Zodiac. Wouldn't be too much work for her and still sth to tide us over for a while. She could even put unheard unleaked songs even on it or she could give us the covers album. *Delusion Off* But realistically I expect nothing for a while which is totally fair(regarding the secret project I'll wait for more concrete news) , if she feels like taking a break she should definitely take one and return with new inspo and motivation one day. When you think about it it is insane how much stuff we got in the last 12 years so we definitely got fed Overall I am happy too that she is not putting Lasso out just for the sake of having it out or turning it into sth that she sees as half assed and instead takes her time with it to figure things out (as annoying it is for us fans and hopefully she learned this time to not announce things too early but hope is a dangerous thing) Regarding the stripped back songs, obv we can't judge them because we have not heard them but we got alot of stripped back songs in the last 5 years so I would not be against her doing a fuller richer sound, or to experiment with a new producer, in fact, I would be really here for that, but on the other hand some of my faves of hers are songs by Jack or stripped back ones (e.g NOTG, Nawal, Kintsugi, Hope, UFB) so I will be fine and excited for them to hear them if she releases the stripped back songs, but as I said we haven't heard them yet. But that is just my personal opinion And personally I still love Ocean Boulevard alot, she has a huge released und unreleased discography so I personally will be fine for a while if we have to wait for Lasso or whatever comes next for a longer period. Also there was some good music this year and I am looking forward to Gagas album. And ultimately this interview definitely helped me to get out of the delulu mode regarding Lasso.

Omg I just saw that Music To Watch Boys To had its biggest streaming day ever with 143K streams yesterday It deserved and it deserves much more streams It's one of my faves on the album since Honeymoons release and one of my fave Lana songs to listen to in warmer weather , I was so obsessed with the song and the music video back in 2015 MTWBT is the perfect sunbathing anthem and I just love the production and melody so much. I do think we haven't talked about the drums in the bridge enough, obsessed with them, reminding me of something tropical !! Glad to see it finally gets more recognition

Happy Birthday to my favorite album of all time Can't believe it is almost a decade old Timeless masterpiece

I just hope this album serves good and clear sounding production and good mixing ( no muffled sounds) Also since she said she is leaning into a more country and americana sound I expect the majority of the songs being guitar based instead of piano based (or that's what I hope for). The southern gothic when it comes to Lana reminded me of I Talk To Jesus vibes or somehow Fishtail. Like the intro and outro of Fishtail (so without the trap beat), with more ambient noises (some synth, water noises, swamp noises etc. ) , an organ, a violin and a guitar added If we get a few "bops" maybe they will be in the vein of Tulsa Jesus Freak x If You Lie Down With Me or Dance Till We Die bridge I don't know what to say else anymore, we really have to wait and see what is coming (and hopefully soon). And here's to hope that once the rollout starts it will make up for the long ass drought and delay. Like an album trailer, singles with a music video, a couple of interviews and Lana showing some excitement on Instagram and to go fully delulu an insta livestream but hope is a dangerous thing
