I get what you mean... And somehow this got me thinking that NFR! is her least " Lana sounding " album and ironically it's the album that got praised the most by critics and the GP. Don't get me wrong I love NFR!...it kinda was refreshing somehow because her voice wasn't drown in reverb, more instrumental parts instead of bridges the production was more lowkey/ stripped back overall..it kinda lacked something that you can find on all of her previous albums.. and as much I love NFR! I hope she switches it up for her future albums...you know NFR! was something different & refreshing but it wouldn't be that way if we get like 3 other albums with the same production...and I trust her...all her others albums have a more Lana feel to them and still are totally different from each other. I probably miss some bass & the little details they did the most I hope y'all got what I wanted to say

" You took my sadness out of context " is a better opening line than " You fucked me so good that I almost said I love you" btw Speaking of title tracks..the LFL & NFR! ones are my least favourite title tracks ...hoping for COTCC to surprise me with a title track that’s good as BTD, UV & HM

Earlier this year I discovered the singer songwriter Alex McArtor and she has such a beautiful voice. It kinda sounds like she has an "old soul". Some of songs kinda have a "Lana-feel" to them. Literally love all of her songs and she definetley deserves more praise. You definetely should give her a try. Some songs are also rockish. Right now she has released two EP's called "Spoken Word" & " Heart Talk, Vol.1" and a bunch of singles. Apparently she is working on new music since she posted new lyrics on her Instagram this week. She looks so beautiful I have to say that her story brought me to tears..you can see in her eyes and hear in her voice that she is sad ...maybe I'm a little emotional today because I was thinking about a lost loved one a lot today ...she spoke true words & shared a great message within those words... love her so much and I feel sorry for her and for her family and for all the people who lost a loved one
