Yeah that was my status...I was obsessed with a few tracks on Systems (Hat Trick) and then Water Water came out a few months ago and I think it was my favorite song of the summer. Now the album has followed and every song is just as good as Water Water!!! I think my faves are How Do You Do It and Make Up.

This shit's about to leak isn't it

I think For K Part 2 is beautiful brilliant poetry!

This movie resurrected my love for her...holy shiiit. Like I honestly think my Lana obsession has roots in listening to Amy so much back in middle school. -

Guys...Nabil. Imagine that. -
I wasn't anticipating this album hotly enough. Ship to Wreck was good and Delilah is great but came too late and St. Jude paired with the snippet/single of HBHBHB we got kinda shaved away some of my excitement. When I finally listened to it, though, I was blown away. There are so many incredible songs. I like this album more than Ceremonials and almost as much as Lungs. I get serious Landscape teas from this record which makes me so happy. So many favorites...Queen of Peace, Third Eye, Mother, Hiding, Pure Feeling, HBHBHB...

Okay, come ON guys. Don't sleep on her. Get the fuck on board!! How is she not absurdly famous? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-TvN1N8QII

Do we know exactly which songs from the original punk album she recorded with Berger survived? Like, how much of it was actually scrapped? I feel like much of it could have been repurposed for Sucker before the sweeter stuff was added.
-
I've been playing it virtually nonstop for the past 40 hours. My thoughts: SUPERLOVE (Her best song. Ever.) Body Of My Own Doing It Famous Breaking Up London Queen Gold Coins Boom Clap Break The Rules Need Ur Luv Sucker Caught In The Middle Money Hangin' Around Die Tonight
-
Absolutely agree. Someone joked earlier in the thread about the death of Charli's artistic integrity when the commercial tracks started coming out but Sucker hits such a sweet spot between being accessible, irresistible, yet still engaging. It's the smartest move she could have made. I'm going to play the hell out of this record and dance and sing along but anticipate her to release her magnum opus in a few years.

how the fuck has this not leaked yet
-
Why would she release the album with just one song out? Not gonna happen this year, even if we get Happy anytime soon.

Hey guys, I mentioned a while back that I'd be interviewing her and the article is finally posted Check it out! I asked her about A Piece of Music to Fuck To lmao. http://www.wakemag.org/sound-vision/qa-mo/ She is so natural and easy to talk to and honest and I just have so much respect for her. I still can't believe this was real. I totally fangirled. At the end, she was like "It was so nice to talk to a fan" hahaha Let me know what you think!

It kinda seemed like MØ was an SNL cast member entering the stage for a bit as a joke. Like, honestly, why not swap her for a Kristin Wiig cameo? She could have come on stage and done that in the same awkward way and it would have been hilarious. I don't even care, this doesn't make me respect Karen any less. This isn't her song, it was stupid, clearly she wasn't into it. Imagine if she got to perform Pilgrim or Don't Wanna Dance or Never Wanna Know or Maiden? She would have killed it.
-
One More was written by Elliphant. MØ was just asked to sing on it. I'm hoping the stuff her and Joel are working on now is next level.

Quadron is my favorite group of all time, and I love Rhye. Robin Hannibal is nothing short of brilliant. Still, I prefer most of Devotion over 12. But seriously, Robin Hannibal is sooooo underrated. He's Dev Hynes x 10000.

Tumblr says it's Sad Girl!! YES. -
Yeah, I don't know what's missing for me! Is anyone else not feeling the soul? I can only really get into You & I and Want Your Feeling, and even then, just barely so. I'm so sad. Did she work with a different producer or are there wildly different songwriting credits? The last thing I loved that she put out was True Believers.
-
I want to preface this by saying I've never met a bigger fan of Devotion than myself, but I don't like this album….like, at all. It seems like it's getting pretty good reviews, too. Why am I missing the boat

How do we feel about the snippets?

Can we talk about how Kimbra is the most underrated artist to ever exist on this ignorant planet?! Honestly, I don't understand how she isn't ruling the whole damn world. She doesn't even have a thread here, what's up with that? Everyone remembers her feature on the Gotye song, and most people have heard Settle Down, but if you've seen a live performance and you're not ob-fucking-sessed I just don't comprehend how your brain processes (or fails to process) music. Exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd7GLvMYSHI Exhibit B: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6i1mr9amqeg Exhibit C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz0Ns3FrCio I'm enchanted.

Um, any news? She's been talking about how she was working on finishing up her album this year but I haven't heard anything in a long while. It's okay though, I'm still jamming' to Bad Girls (Verdine Version) and T.O.N.Y.

Sounds like it was written for radio.
