Thank you! I’m usually good at guessing acronyms but I was drawing a compete blank On topic: this song is a completely and absolute masterpiece. This is the song that started my love of Lana and her world the lyrics are phenomenal (and also the only song that Lana has ever said ‘sorry’ in (and she doesn’t even mean it in this song )) the production is out of the world the demos are also amazing 100/10

I love love love this!! I’ve always loved her covers because it seems like she’s sharing a song she likes with us, and this feels like that X’s 10!

I’m honestly very proud of every one, I expected more meltdowns I’m not disappointed at all because she gave us three songs and explicitly said “album out July 4th” and searching RCS on Spotify and her profile showing up also did nothing for me because early December when COTCC was searched her profile came up and we were a month away from the single and 3 from the album If I had to guess, I would say we’ll probably have the preorder by July 4th with an August/September release date. I don’t see it being any time before that because Billie’s album drops late July

while I completely agree with what you’re saying, LFL was never called anything else by her, insiders are the one who started calling it BAR and we all went with it. But yeah, we didn’t get endless “what if WHF and COTCC are two different albums!?” it could go either way with the album title as it is now. She posted about Blue Banisters and used the single cover and announced the album would be out July 4th (thus ending all June 1st speculation) but the album title is still up in the air, even the press release called the album ‘the upcoming album’ and didn’t give it a name (they’re probably as confused as we are )

I would be more frustrated with tomorrow if she didn’t drop 3 songs and tell us the album is coming July 4th. Typically when we get a fake date it’s silence until that date, and long after (looking at you Violet Jan 4th COTCC sep 5th) I’m expecting (with how she’s been posting about the date) either a change of date post soon, or a start start to the era (preorder, video, etc)

completely agree with all this, I think the album is still called RCS and she was announcing BB (the single) and the album was coming July 4th. It’s possible we could get the lead/video/preorder soon but that’s only if the album is still coming July 4th and well..

Can we please not fight with each other about the sound of the singles and other user’s preference for the music it’s so tiring.

That’s the timeline in my head too!! I just can’t imagine Mike, who doesn’t like talking about music before it’s out, announcing the follow up to BB if Lana was still working on it. The fact that a follow up has been mentioned twice now (Lana in Texas, Mike a couple weeks ago) is a clear as day indication BB is completed

exactly!!!l I’m sure it’s annoying/stressful to be Mike right now He doesn’t like talking about music before it’s out, and there’s Lana announcing the album months ahead of time. So naturally all her fans are bombarding him for info and he doesn’t wanna give it out. I think Zach and Gabe worked on the album October to probably Janurary or February, Mike hopped on for a track or two around March, and the album was finished not long after. but that’s just a classic NikoGo theory

I still wouldn’t hold onto ANYTHING Mike says when it comes to the album. He said literally days later that he doesn’t talk about new music. He probably mentioned the one song they did (WW) because it was set to come out in a week as @IanadeIrey pointed out, when the fan met her in Texas she said she was done with the album (then still titled RCS) and was working on new music. that paired with Mike’s comment about hoping to work on a future project indicates the album is done and they’re working on the follow up. I don’t see this being an NFR rollout and I am confident we’ll have the album by early fall at the latest

I remember when we were hoping to get BB in May and we ended up getting 3 songs, so when nothing comes next week it won’t be shocking or disappointing for me personally news will come when it comes. I’ll steam the 3 new songs and COTCC

This tracklist is giving me LFL “she would never title a song ‘In My Feelings’” since everyone is complaining about it, it’s probably legit. BOZ did say she was going into her past a lot so maybe she is releasing YTH and if the tracklist is leaking we have to be really close to an announcement/the album

I really think the ‘I can’t believe she’s doing this’ was referring to three singles all on the same day, because I can’t think of any other artist in a long time who’s done that, and BOZ said it wasn’t lyric/sound related There does have to be something ‘bigger’ coming, but we have no confirmation what it is

Billboard is obviously just taking Lana’s word on the two albums. We’ve been explicitly told it’s only gonna be one album..typically when an artist takes to Instagram to announce something, they know what they’re talking about and don’t give two completely random dates Let’s be real, when she announced June 1st back in March I’m sure none of us expected to actually have 3 new songs before the date. I feel like the rest of the album cycle will be rather normal. She’ll announce the lead single/video and she’ll announce a preorder and all that good stuff! So logically I don’t see us getting anything next week, because she already told us the date is moved to July 4th
