I have a theory he heard the single first, started dropping hints, and then the album a couple days later. He changed his tone really fast. First it was just a simple ‘heard the single it’s this long and sounds like this’ and then a couple days later he was suddenly ‘I can’t believe she’s doing this!’ its very possible Mike was lying when he said they were still working together for BB (since he said not long after he doesn’t like to talk about it because he doesn’t wanna jinx anything) I feel like it’s very possible BB is done (and that’s how BOZ has it) and they’re working on the next album now! Plus mike made it very official yesterday by tweeting at Lana, so I think he finally feels it’s safe and won’t jinx anything

it’s the only thing she’s ever been consistent with 20 days between album announcement to the single and preorder 20 days between first WD post and second. Then another 20 days between the second and the video 20 days from RCS announcement to the first BB post 20 days from first BB post to the second one we’re winning this week!!

no that was the Twitter ‘insider’ the actual insider (who has always been reliable) said 2 weeks and according to the 20 day rule, we’re in for news this week

I have been too, and I have to agree! I am a fan of his style, and the solo work is really cool but I think vocals/lyrics are very big parts of song enjoyment for me..I do like the work he’s done with other artists. He said he wanted to incorporate his style and Lana’s style together, and that seems to be a really big strong point with him. The songs he’s done with other artists do sound different, but they stay true to who the artist is and I’m sure Blue Banisters will be the same way

I can’t wait for Twitter stans to come at him over Lana so they can get this kind of response out of him it’s what the Twitter fans deserve I’m shaking with anticipation I can NOT wait for this week! I just feel great things happening so soon. The ‘start’ is this week, and Mike is feeling confident enough to not be jinxing his work with Lana

I think mike tagging and tweeting about Lana is a GREAT sign because he said he doesn’t like to say anything incase it gets jinxed, and now he’s talking!

I feel like Mike isn’t gonna give a fuck about Lana stans being rude to him and will eventually snap back I think I’m more excited for BTS footage of them working on the album more than anything. He seems to really like to capture ‘day in the life’ studio moments! I really do sense something is about to happen soon

I’m holding onto hope that the era is starting next week BOZ said it was, and nothing has been said otherwise and it seems almost to late for the ‘start’ to be delayed at this point! I’m gonna be happy even if it’s an official announcement for the first single, as long as it’s some kind of communication!

Y’all always say “she doesn’t care about numbers” and like no, she might not, but her label who shovels out money to her sure as hell do Chemtrails broke records in sales, Norman did amazing with the vinyl sale. There is no way she’s going to do a digital only and lose out on getting another number 1 record. The label is never gonna let that happen. She’s signed to them so she had to oblige to their release schedules and all they want her to do (magazines, videos, etc) Until there is clear label support for this, it’s not coming soon

She changed it like 3 times last era Sep 5th, December 11th/Jan 5th, March 5th on the live stream edit: not to mention the disaster of Violet. It was supposed to come before Norman

I still remember Tropico!!! I don’t think I’ve ever waited so long for a project, and I completely agree! I never fell for any of the dates she gave us, but it’s still annoying that it keeps happening

I mean, it might be possible the album is done and her silence is just so she doesn’t give another fake date before announcing the real, real date? I’m just gonna wait to see what happens next week, since that’s when the era is ‘starting’

Imagine Mike’s surprise when he woke up and she announced the album for July 4th knowing they were still working on it

she’s said durring two album cycles now, it takes 90 days/12 weeks for her vinyls to be pressed. The fact that that has been consistent has to mean something because she never says the same lie twice. there’s no way it can be done in 6, magically, while covid is still going (especially since her album had a 16 week production this year)
