That description has me super intrigued! I also love that an insider has the full project, makes it feel close (even though insiders had COTCC since July )

i would say they have a pretty good relationship.. while I’m sure things go on behind the scenes (like when NFR was done in early ‘19 but she had no idea when it would be released) they seem to give her a lot of freedom that I’m sure other artists don’t have. Lana outsold the top 10 the week COTCC came out, and NFR did very good too. Plus her fans are very devoted and spend mad money on merch (like for me LDR Village is grossly overcharged, but fans still support her) I’m sure things go on behind the scenes that will delay BB (promo, other artists), but I also think they’ll let her release relatively soon because they know her fans will gladly spend the money for her again

In the interview Ben and Ed did in January they confirmed that she was working on two albums..I doubt they would have said that if they were planning on forcing her to hold onto the album for an extended period of time. But at the same time I’d love for that theory to be true and Lana going ‘f U’ to her label and bosses

the vinyls didn’t come out until October. Billboard rules have changed since then

she announced Chemtrails in May and didn’t send it to be pressed until November we don’t even know if she submitted the album yet the fact we have a video for the lead single is promising though I also don’t know how it works but I feel like she could theoretically change the album title while it’s being pressed, I think the sleeves and inserts aren’t the time consuming part but I could be wrong

I think it’s really hard to say “RCS doesn’t belong on BB!” When we haven’t heard RCS and have heard 30 seconds of BB Cinnamon Girl and HIADT don’t seem like they’d belong on the same album

Violet was announced via video LFL we knew was coming because she tweeted the date in March, and we only had a week and a half HM came 10 days after HBTB came out NFR is the only time she’s ever dropped a preorder unannounced (and it was suspended even then because the dual video was set to release)

Oh no I completely agree!! I’m as ‘anti leakers’ as it gets! It’s mainly just speculation and something to talk about. I agree that the info they seem to get is eclipse 2.0 wannabe, and a lot of the info they get is very likely predictions that come true (the picsart not being the cover, RCS being a single)

diorleak seems to have pretty reliable info, but they DM’d a fan saying she was releasing a single in May, but when they tweeted what all was happening in May they didn’t mention a single. they also tweeted the day after the BB snippet to not get caught up in Lana edit: I lied, it was about 8 hours BEFORE she posted the BB snippet. So maybe they don’t know what’s going on? It’s weird to say ‘don’t get caught up in Lana’ and then the same day Lana posts a snippet

I’m hoping she doesn’t tease snippet on snippet. I’ll listen to full tracks when they come out (either by her or leaking) but I’m not listening to any snippets now that I heard BB. COTCC felt so so so fresh on arrival and I contribute that to having no idea how the album sounded and I intend to do it again

Yep! I’m wondering if someone actually had it then or if someone faked it. (I’m guessing someone faked it since it just got to an insider a couple days ago)

Most likely a prediction that is most likely going to be true. There’s no way anyone knows for sure yet.
